I was in prayer in my bible study the other night, and suddenly began having a vision of an eagle, it looked fierce & mighty, and was flying through the sky, how does this relate back to my spiritual life/the bible???

Do you remember any more details?
An eagle sits up high for hours, and observes. Then when it sees movement it dives so quickly that things don't see it coming, and scoops up the mouse or whatever. It also rides the wind in a way that gives it a lot of lift.
I might think this would show you the value of putting time into observing -- quietly reading your Bible and praying. Balance this with what people might tell you about getting out there and working for the Lord. The eagle doesn't do a lot of flapping, and still it comes across swift and mighty.
Reflection can strengthen your spirit and give you that eagle-eye that sees the narrow target from far away.
Others will probably give you some more good thoughts on this...

I've had a dream of an eagle soaring over the land. It was an announcement that God was about to speak. Eagles in the bible represent sharp swiftness and a message of truth. Ezekiel, Daniel, and revelation all speak of eagles in direct connection to God.
In my dream, we were enjoying a normal picnic day outdoors in some kind of forest when the whole earth started shaking. above the trees was an eagle that filled the sky. I'm talking heavenly huge... the world panicked as they thought it was the end, as did I. The world was chaotic trying to escape what was coming, but as I reached for my car door, I heard a loud POWERFUL voice that was heard across the entire world - "Why do you fear me? Do not fear. I am the lord your God."
I knew then that it was God and immediately took comfort knowing it was time to go home. I then knew what I had to do, as it felt so natural. I took one step straight back and stepped into a line of people. These people were lined up wearing pure white. As I looked to my left There were too many for me to number, but I do know at the end of the people was brightness like the sun, only whiter. As I stepped into the line my clothes turned white like the others. I remember the feeling of warmth and love as I took my last gaze... Whoosh, just like that I was gone. The closest way to describe it was like me when they get beamed up on star trek, only this was faster .
After a friend of mine told me about the eagle, I researched a little and sure enough. The Eagle represented a swift message that nobody could have prepared for. It came unexpectedly quick, and from afar as an eagle normally would. It also felt like a confirmation of truth.

That's really an awesome vision. Parsley is right about the vantage point and the swiftness. With the eagle, it's all about their incredible eyesight. I once let out a mouse I had trapped, in a shopping center parking lot, and to my amazement, he ran around the lot in terror, and then ended up coming back to me and hiding under my van! Then I realized he had an innate fear of being out in the open, because of birds of prey.
Simply put, I believe this is what the Lord is showing you you can be if you choose to walk in high places with Him.
