Greetings to all ,

This morning , I had a vision , that someone was in the midst of some of my stuff ; and I felt I should grab them and bring them under my power , but when I touched them , they became spirit and poured inside of me , and my heart and my body began to quake and shake . There was a brief moment when it felt like I would panic , because I sensed the spirit was evil ; but then a voice inside me ,( which is me , but the " new " me , the one who is one with Jesus ); said , if you did wrong you deserve wrong , fear not God is greater than your wrongs , but now must you learn from them .

Then I understood that , even now , but especially in the last days when the anti-christ comes into power , anyone who has " nice stuff " , or anything the Beast government decides it wants , or can use , it will just take it . ( Akin to a communist take over , or at least how they've been described .)

And this is part of our test as believers , that we should just let them take it .

For if we try to fight the devil on this level , he will gain power over us .

For our true treasure is in heaven , where no thief can approach , and Jesus has commanded his followers :

Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. <-----> Luke 12:33+34

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.<-----> Luke 6:30

The evil presence inside me gradually faded away ,( in less than an hour ), and is all gone now ; but I was shown that I / we need to be more aligned with the mind and the teachings of Jesus in this matter .

For what does it profit to gain the world , if as a result , we lose our own soul . <---> ( Jesus' words paraphrased.)

Shalom ,

wm

It's cool to have some stuff, but not to much stuff. However when we care about our stuff it makes us greedy, vain, and prideful. I can't tell if this is something that you are having an issue with but if you go and work with the homeless you grow to not care about your stuff any more.

Either way nice story and thanks for being honest-

I saw this just yesterday - it made the same point - sometimes the way 'out' is not to fight but to accept God's help & deliverance. There are other times when you must 'stand firm' and 'hold your ground'. Only guidance from the Lord can show which way to go. Again it shows that to find God's will you can't rely on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 ).

Daniel & The Lions Den

"So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lion's den. The king said to Daniel, 'May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!'" Daniel (Daniel 6:16, NIV)

No question, Daniel got a rough deal. He was set up by jealous lesser men who wanted him out of the way. It seemed like they succeeded except for one thing they overlooked: Daniel's trust in God.

The interesting thing, however, about Daniel being thrown into the den of lions is that God didn't deliver him out of the den before Daniel found deliverance in it.

Imagine if Daniel had fought against being thrown into the den (which he would have been justified in doing) and gone into the den fighting against it every inch of the way, chances are the lions would have torn him to shreds before he hit the bottom. But Daniel didn't. He accepted his lot and trusted his life to God who shut the lion's mouths.

On more than one occasion I have asked God that if I am not going to be delivered out of my "lion's den" (naming the frustrating situation I'm in), would he please deliver me in it.

Sometimes, like Daniel, God has a lesson for us to learn in our present difficult situation and before he delivers us out of it, like Daniel, we need to find deliverance in it.
