~The next Morning~
Rozz was glad that she had asked Mr. Knight for blue jeans & a T-shirt. She was getting tired of wearing those heavy dresses. She knew the trip would be torture if shed had to wear one. As the sun was starting to rise Rozz, Roxie, & Ethan headed out on there day long journey to Verona. Later when they had stopped for lunch at the midway point, Rozz noticed three riders coming their way. Ethan pulled his sword next to him, just in case they werent very friendly. But as they got closer, Rozz recognized Aaron & waved to him, as she told Ethan to calm down. As they got closer she invited them to have lunch with them. Aaron & his friends (Clayton & James) accepted the offer. Clayton & Roxie were about the same age & seemed to hit it off pretty well. James & Ethan talked about different things, while Aaron & Rosaline talked about lots of things. Soon after they loaded up & all left for the remainder of the trip, together.
~Verona~
As the sun was setting they arrived in Verona tired from their day long journey. One of King Michaels friends (Sir Gabriel) met them at the gate & showed them to their rooms (in the castle) so they could freshen up before the meeting. Considering Verona was the enemy, Gabriel seemed nice enough. Shortly after the group parted ways to their rooms, the girls to one room & the guys to another, to get ready for the council meeting. As they were finishing getting ready, King Michael cam to the door to escort them to the meeting. (Which was right down the hall) Although when Queen Gwendolyn of Milan went walking by, he forgot all about them & walked off after her, luckily the guys were right behind them. When they arrived to the meeting room, half of the people were already there. There were five tables circled around the room, one for each kingdom & one for Mr. Knight, the game creators-Derek Howard (whose game name is Adam) & Andrew Maddox (game name- Casanova), & a few others that Rozz hadnt seen before, but she figured the must be important people to be here. About the time they sat down Michael came in & Mr. Knight started the meeting saying, First of all Id like to thank you all for traveling so far in order to be here tonight. We The Council invited you all here tonight, to discuss the issues & / or questions you may have. Queen Gwendolyn, would you like to go first? She quickly stood up & replied Yes I would. Im sure there are problems in all of the kingdoms, but last night there were several people killed, or presumed killed in a street fight. Clayton questioned, What do you mean presumed? she looked at him aggravated & replied, I mean they disappeared before anyone could tell for sure. I thought this was suppose to a game? Not a nightmare! Whats going on?
