Violent Toys for Children

Hi christian forum visitors,

I was wondering what your take was on violent toys for children? Do you buy them? Should a christian support a toyline that is about nothing except decapitating your enemies? I'm wondering because The Lion and Lamb project has just released their 8th annual most violent toys list....

Among them are Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and WWE Wrestling figures.

Umm...we used to run around and shoot each other with cap guns and bows and arrows with suction cups on the end, playing cowboys and indians.
So far we have turned out to be fairly productive and well adjusted members in society.

I can admit that I would never buy my kid anything that you mentioned. Not cause they're violent, but cause they're dumb.
