  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Why are you here? Silly question but the only one that came to mind right now.Basically, came across it on a google search, don't even know what I was searching for anymore, but I thought let's stick around for a while as I'm not always as capable to go out

Um..what your favorite tree? Don't really have a fav tree, but considering the time of year I'm going to say a Christmas tree, even though we haven't had one for ages
Whats your favorite fruit? Why?Either apples or bananas, apples because my mom always gave them to school with me, and I love how they taste, bananas well I grew up eating them, as all those athletes eat them lol(And I spend a lot of time playing sports till I was 18), also like how they taste, fav ice cream flavor of fruit is strawberry though.
What do you want to be when you grow up?Seriously I haven't really got a clue right now, which is kinda pathetic as I'm 21 lol. Switching studies next year hopefull into a BA History studies, considering the option of going into Journalism or something, but with my fiddleness regaring this subject that's likely to change again

(such lame questions).
That's okay ethie :p

What kind of sports did you play when you were younger? Tennis, played it for 13years, kind of my main sport, used to be pretty talented, trained 5x a week(including with the tennis federation), played some invitational stuff. Football or as you americans call it Soccer, did it a few times at a club but did a lot with my friends, pretty much every weekend and at school. Running and fitness, both as a supporting sport for the Tennis, both payed for by the Tennis club I played at and they made the program I followed. Did Judo for a shortwhile, but quit after getting the Yellow belt, yeah you know Jackie Chan better watch out for my awesome martial arts skills. Finally swimming, just for fun with the lifegaurds for a few years.
Why have you stopped playing now? Basically Chronic injuries got the better of me. Dislocated my knee like 10times, which means I know suffer chronic pain in it, which has lead to compensation which has lead to pain in the other knee aswell(I can honestly say I can't remember the last time I went an entire day without pain in my left knee), dislocated the elbow which lead to some pain at full stretching, broke my wrist didn't get it treated right so some uncomfortable feeling there, wrecked my shoulder due to playing through an injury to prevent going down a league with our team because we didn't have enough players. We Started each match 3-0 down, and we play 8games each worth 1 point, and some minor muscle problems around the groin, hamstring, back(which is some slight chronic pain aswell), and the ankles.
What kind of work would you like to do if you get a degree in Journalism?Preferrably Sportsjournalism. Next to God my biggest passion is sports, so considering I can't play it, it seems like the next best thing
[Where do you think you will be in life at 25? Hopefully nearing the completion of a BA in history, and preparing for a MA in Journalism(which is a one year course here after completing a BA in history), hopefully living in my own place in the northern part of the country, which is where my family has it's roots, and a lot of mates life there. Also hopefully less of a sinner, and bigger on the channeling of Godly Love

When you said futball I already know that you were talking about soccer. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about all of those injuries, it sounds horrible and I hope you are getting through them without all the pain.

How are you going to become less of a sinner, what are you working for this to happen?

Thanks, sadly though right now atleast the kneeproblems seem like a permanent issue, and one that is degenerative. It was really slippery outside the last few weeks, was really petrified to go outside and go through it again, and damage it even further.

Basically invest time in my relationship with Christ(through prayer, studying scripture, and works), and training myself to listen to the spirit over the flesh. I'm a baby christian though relatively speaking, as I only got saved at the beginning of this year. It's been a lesson in dieing to self, and it's still an ongoing struggle with certain sins from my past life. Left some stuff behind, and most things have gotten less frequent, but I hate sinning in general. I'm a perfectionist by nature, so even one sin a year would be a disappointment.
