How do you convert video from Adobe Premier to an acceptable format for web (i.e. *.avi, *.mpg, *.mov) or is it done already?

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There's a way to do it in premiere, I've forgotten though. I'm certain it's there though (I can't check because I just got rid of everything of my computer and haven't got anything installed).
Btw, .wmv and divx .avi files are the best formats, IMO.

Does Adobe Preimer have something like "Export" or "Encode" in it's File menu? Or just "Save As" and select the desired format?

1) Your avi is visible in the Bin
2) You've dragged the avi from the Bin to the Timeline, and you're finished editing
3) Go to : File | Export Timeline | Advanced Windows Media - choose your settings and save
or instead of 3)--->
4) Go to : File | Export Timeline | Movie - go down to the Settings button, i.e. choose QuickTime, save it how ya like it

its a stand alone unit used for editing videos, i used it for all of my videos for youth group and stuff, its really good im just getting a mac
