  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It didn't suck, I don't think anyone has ever said that before so it was quite nice hearing it. For the record I think we could too.

Oh, and the other nice things, you are far too kind, I usually think the same about your posts. Sometimes I wait to see if you post about something first as 9 times out of 10 you'll be far more concise than I could ever hope to be

I am listening to Dove's video message and laughing.

You remind me of a counselor's voice. Like all soothing and real sincerity but with words that make you sit up and take notice. <----- that is a sorta a compliment.

Anyway, epic video. I think that is the longest one so far!

It's a toss up. While the consensus is that I have a decent chance of being banned (a good thing), I'm not fond of the fact that my complexion has taken a decided turn for the worse lately. I'm thinking of waiting a few weeks and re-doing it. Also making it uplifting rather than... welll... what it is.

Then again, the laying low of my pride is a priority so this could be one step in that direction.
