Amazing video Leo! I've never heard of him, but I will certainly check him out
Awesome! Definitely do. Like I said you won't regret it.
And don't pay any attention to how awful I look in this video. I've been doing these after work every evening, so my makeup is melting off and my hair looks awful.

Sweet vid! And I'll def check out the dude you were talking about.
As for electric - acoustic versions, I love it when both are awesome; Clapton's two versions of Layla being quite possibly the best example. (Other's being Neil Youngs Hey Hey, My My and Rockin' In The Free World).

Haha, it is an infectious song! It's better Athens to Athens
Kinda of day and nighttttt
That's going to be stuck in my head now Leo, but it really was an amazing song. I watched the youtube video of the recording at Vienna Opera House, and I just wanted to ask if you knew what the name of the instrument is that plays after the fiddle/violin? It looked/sounded awesome. Anyways, you're three for three! I know I'm not going to be bored by future reviews you do
Pssssh, get out of here
Out of all of those I have heard of Mumford & Sons and The Civil Wars. I really liked their song Barton Hollow. I'll have to give the others a good listen.Leo, lovely as always, and I really enjoy your analysis of the artist and their album(s), it's obvious that you know what you're talking about which is a nice change of pace for me because in real life I've gotten tired of blow hards droning on about music when they don't know what they're talking about.
Giving Joe Bonamassa a listen on Spotify per your recommendation. I like the violin accompaniment in "Around the Bend"

I'm a huge Indie fan, in fact that's what dominates 90% of my music listening. Now my vinyl collection is all classics, I haven't had a chance yet to collect vinyl copies of the indie bands I like.
Have you ever listened to Drew Holcombe & The Neighbors, The Weepies, The Avett Brothers, The Head and the Heart, Derby, Iron & Wine, The Civil Wars, David Bazan, Fink or (of course) the almighty Mumford & Sons?
Those are just a few of my favs that I keep on my iPhone for listening...
