As for electric - acoustic versions, I love it when both are awesome; Clapton's two versions of Layla being quite possibly the best example. (Other's being Neil Youngs Hey Hey, My My and Rockin' In The Free World).

Out of all of those I have heard of Mumford & Sons and The Civil Wars. I really liked their song Barton Hollow. I'll have to give the others a good listen.Leo, lovely as always, and I really enjoy your analysis of the artist and their album(s), it's obvious that you know what you're talking about which is a nice change of pace for me because in real life I've gotten tired of blow hards droning on about music when they don't know what they're talking about.
