A devout Catholic went every day to his chapel of St Peter, and he knelt at the base of St Peter's statue and prayed "Santa Padre, Santa Padre, will you help me win the lottery?"
This carried on for many years and Saint Peter himself was quite cross with the man, so one day the statue looked down at him and replied "my son, my son, will you go and get yourself a ticket?"
