Psalm 101:3- I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes....

This verse right here changed my entire outlook on entertainment. I don't own a tv anymore, because if you pay attention, you cannot turn to ANY channel that does not display sinful things in a positive light. I can't stand it now. Ever since I stopped watching it everytime I hear it I am sensitive to what they say now, as opposed to a long time ago where I was immune to it.

Other than that the main one that comes to mind is that verse (I don't know exact reference) that says, "Finally brethren, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, think on these things." I know that's not word for word but close.

That's a really good one. Because, I allow myself to watch "wicked" things, thinking I'll just filter them out in my mind and not be affected. But that verse actually says, don't even let yourself look at them. Thanks, I'll remember that :)

Here is a good one. This verse makes me think about what I allow into my mind and whether it meets these standards.

Philippians 4:8 (New Living Translation)
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
