How funny for someone as dishonest as Rick Scott trying to insure the integrity of the vote. He is Trump lite. As governor of Florida he mandated drug tests for people on welfare and any kind of government assistance. The tests were purchased from a company he used to own, which was put into his wife's name when he became governor. The tests cost Florida many millions of dollars, and since almost all were negative, hardly saved the state of Florida a dime--but certainly enriched Scott and his wife, the on-paper president of the company. So Rick Scott is worried about integrity? ROFL. The problem with this voter suppression scheme is that a number of states have laws that don't allow them to begin counting absentee or mail in votes until Election Day. If their laws don't permit them to begin the process until Election Day, how can they possibly finish by Scott's arbitrary deadline? And states have the power to manage their own elections. But this is just a stupid distraction to cast doubt on an election that will no doubt be the equivalent of people casting off their chains and saying, "We're mad as hel* and we're not going to take it anymore!" The House will never pass it. The House knows the constraints that state laws have put on vote counting, and that Scott's voter suppression bill would wind up with the will of the people being denied.
