Gardenia said:Have you tried the fake meats that are out there? Err.. that sounds weird. But, there are lots of things, vege burgers, hot dogs, fake chicken nuggets, fake BBQ ribs, sausage, etc. Tons of things. I give them to my siblings when I cook, they're better for them and they cant taste the difference.I feel left out at BBQs and camping out, so I bring the BBQ ribs and vegie dogs, they're pretty tasty.

He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
Romans 14:6
It is fairly widely accepted (but by no means unanimously, I'm sure) that humans did not eat meat in the garden of eden. God gave Adam and Eve the fruit of the trees to eat. Jesus came to free us from the burden of sin and death imposed by Adam and Eve's sin... and I see vegetarianism as a wonderful symbol of that freedom given by Jesus. We do not need to offer blood sacrifices to God anymore... the ultimate blood sacrifice has already been paid. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.
