  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Would a true believer and follower of Christ place a vail OVER the New Testament?
A vail of blindness preventing them from overcoming the world.

Just as the false Jews who rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago maintained a vail over their faces in the study of the Old Testament so do the vast majority of so-called last-days “christians” maintain a VAIL over their own faces in the study of the New Testament.

II Corinthians 3: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Leaving all the cares of this temporary life behind as Jesus repeatedly said true, saving belief in Him would result in through the Spirit’s indwelling. Most who claim Christ as Savior conversely equate their salvation, new birth or regeneration to merely the turning over of a new leaf or finding religion. Christ’s teachings which Scripturally determines who is a true follower of Him and who is not are ignored completely and instead replaced with a set of “new laws” in a false “jesus” name.

Galatians 5: 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. 5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. 7Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

You see, true faith causes the regeneration of the Spirit into a new man. We then become the greatest paradox of history. The new inside the old. The Spirit of Christ within the spirit of man. The continuous battle then begins. It is the battle against the nature of man to overcome the world as Christ Himself did.

Whenever questioned about their “Christianity” in regards to Christ’s direct teachings, these end days "christians" intermingle the Old Testament with the New Testament in order to maintain their false “Christ” and false “gospel”. Which in reality has transformed nothing in their hearts. The have merely put on religion.

Regardless of their devotion to their new religious rules, their “church” or their “pastor” they are UNBELIEVERS in the New Testament of Christ.

These make apostate assertions that Christs direct teachings are not for believers in this age constantly quoting plucked-out and isolated passages of Scripture from the New Testament Epistles and then blending them into OT passages attempting to justify pride, vanity, wrath, strife, seditions, murder, and war for themselves. Refusing to see that Christ’s direct teachings are reiterated and reinforced throughout these same Epistles in their true contexts.

These are tares, weeds and goats before the Lord. Just as blind and lost as the unbelieving Jews who purposefully maintain a vail over the Old Testament and reject the New. Although these claim a "jesus" it is never the Jesus revealed in the New Testament. These cherry pick New Testament Scriptures to adorn their fleshly appetites exercising “will worship” instead of true and transforming belief in the Lord Jesus Christ:

Colossians 2: 20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. Chapter 3:1 continues: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

They espouse the traditions of men delivered to them by their hireling pastors. Maintaining a false “Christ” in all they say, all the while ignoring and even refuting humility, meekness, peacemaking, turning the other cheek, giving to all that ask-looking for nothing in return, loving their enemies and their neighbors as themselves.

They cannot comprehend being crucified with Christ, death to self and this temporary world: They insist on maintaining a vail over their eyes to the mystery of Godliness revealed in the New Testament.

II Corinthians 4: 1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Listen to II Corinthians here: Listen to God's Word

They intermingle the OT (which Christ abolished) with the NT to maintain and justify fleshly desires of true sin: This is the reason why these last days apostate churches are full of this:

II Corinthians 2: 20For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: They were proselyted by the blind (vailed) and therefore are the blind (vailed) led by the blind (vailed).

There is no Spirit of Christ within them and if any man have not the Spirit of Christ; he is none of His. There is only the spirit of man within them. The flesh loves religion and rules (the more outwardly pious the better) as long as those rules do not contradict their flesh. In other words AS LONG AS THEY CAN DISPLAY AND TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WILL-WORSHIP. This describes the teachings and doctrines of ALL sects and denominations existing today.

The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit, neither can he know them because they are Spiritually discerned.

These last days “Christian leaders” claim to be reborn of the Spirit of God but the evidence demonstrates that they are born only once and of the spirit of the world. They have religion – not eternal life.

Galatians 5: 15 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. This concept is totally foreign to them. However, most of the below traits are not. Although hidden from open and flagrant display they are the truths of their unregenerate hearts. With the only exceptions being those shown in red since these would be against any mainstream religion or tradition of men and are flagrantly reprobate.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians Chapter 5: 22-25 is a reiteration of the results of saving faith Christ spoke of in detail during His Sermon on the Mount, Matthew chapter 5-7. See below:

Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
This is the SPIRIT OF CHRIST. Do you have it my friends? DO YOU?

Also, please see What is a Tare.

A true believer’s only desire for the remainder of their physical life on earth is to learn from the Lord Jesus Christ’s teachings and to follow them in the Holy Spirit's Power. Always remember that men look upon the outward appearance but God looks only upon the heart. Listen only to God in these last days my friends, we are all running out of time…. Please see our Bread of Life page for the secret and key to your eternal life. The key no preacher, pastor, clergy or minister has, although ALL of them claim to. They are LIARS and are deceiving you because they are VAILED to the truth.

Matthew 27:
45 And from the sixth hour darkness came over all the land unto the ninth hour, 46 and about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a great voice, saying, ‘Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?’ that is, ‘My God, my God, why didst Thou forsake me?’ 47 And certain of those standing there having heard, said — ‘Elijah he doth call;’ 48 and immediately, one of them having run, and having taken a spunge, having filled [it] with vinegar, and having put [it] on a reed, was giving him to drink, 49 but the rest said, ‘Let alone, let us see if Elijah doth come — about to save him.’ 50 And Jesus having again cried with a great voice, yielded the spirit; 51 and lo, the vail/katapetasma<2665> of the sanctuary was rent in two from top unto bottom, and the land[Judea?] did quake, and the rocks were rent,
52 and the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who have fallen asleep, arose,

Mark 15:

33 And the sixth hour having come, darkness came over the whole land till the ninth hour, 34 and at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a great voice, saying, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lamma sabachthani?’ which is, being interpreted, ‘My God, my God, why didst Thou forsake me?’ 35 And certain of those standing by, having heard, said, ‘Lo, Elijah he doth call;’ 36 and one having run, and having filled a spunge with vinegar, having put [it] also on a reed, was giving him to drink, saying, ‘Let alone, let us see if Elijah doth come to take him down.’ 37 And Jesus having uttered a loud cry, yielded the spirit, 38 and the veil<2665> of the sanctuary was rent in two, from top to bottom,
39 and the centurion who was standing over-against him, having seen that, having so cried out, he yielded the spirit, said, ‘Truly this man was Son of God.’

Luke 23:
44And it was, as it were, the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land till the ninth hour, 45 and the sun was darkened, and the veil<2665> of the sanctuary was rent in the midst,
46 and having cried with a loud voice, Jesus said, ‘Father, to Thy hands I commit my spirit;’ and these things having said, he breathed forth the spirit. 47 And the centurion having seen what was done, did glorify God, saying, ‘Really this man was righteous;’ 48 and all the multitudes who were come together to this sight, beholding the things that came to pass, smiting their breasts did turn back; 49 and all his acquaintances stood afar off, and women who did follow him from Galilee, beholding these things.
