In addition to Roman Catholics, there are some Protestants, mainly Anglicans and Lutherans, who also use the rosary. The rosary is a devotion to Mary, however, so this presents some doctrinal implications.

To address that issue, many if not most of these Christians amend the appointed prayers somewhat, most often by omitting the second half of the Hail Mary (which was not original with the rosary anyway, but was added by a modern Pope).

Incidentally both Anglicans and Lutherans have their own versions of the historic rosary, which might interest you.

The rosary is not of Christ. You are not to pray to His mother or any other dead saints. Why don't you pray the prayer that Jesus Christ taught His disciples? the Lord's prayer
Our Father.....Thy name...Thy kingdom...
Though I’m not catholic the Hail Mary prayer is in the Bible spoken by God through the Angel Gabriel and by Elizabeth. Who says we are not to praise the bearer of Christ and who says the Saints are dead, aren’t believers alive with Christ?

I am C of E and would love to pray using the rosary. Is there any Christians out there that use the rosary? I know Catholics are Christians.

As Albion said, there are Lutherans and Anglicans who pray the rosary. In some instances the old form of the Hail Mary is used instead of the new form (i.e. without the petition), in other cases the Hail Mary is replaced with the Jesus Prayer.

“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”

Mary was not dead then. She was not being prayed to. She is blessed, but she is not the Blessed One.

We are told that there is One Mediator between God and man. No man is between God and man -as in regular people. Mary died and will return with the sleeping saints at the return of Jesus Christ after the great tribulation is over against Israel.
Yes there is one mediator between God and man and the Saints participate with us in prayer to God and that mediatorship of his son Jesus Christ. Mary is alive along with all the faithful in the kingdom of God.

I’m not that familiar with the Hail Mary prayer to I won’t claim to know much about it.

There is an eastern form of the Hail Mary that may be more familiar to you as an Orthodox Christian,

"Theotokos Virgin, rejoice, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with You. Blessed are You among women, and blessed is the fruit of Your womb, for You have borne the Savior of our souls."

This is pretty much similar to the old form of the Western Hail Mary which is,

"Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus."

Later on a second part, a petition, was amended so that the full form of the Hail Mary read,

"Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death."

The petition began to be added in the 16th century, and became more-or-less official by around the time of the Council of Trent.

Martin Luther had no problem with the traditional old form, since it was quoting Scripture nearly verbatim; he only took issue with the petition.

So, unsurprisingly, Lutherans and Anglicans who do use the Hail Mary use the old form, not the new form.

The concept of saints is Biblical. Here's just a few examples:

"Thus, in Psalm 103 we pray, "Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will!" (Ps. 103:20–21). And in the opening verses of Psalms 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host!"

Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8). Thus the saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.

Angels do the same thing: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Rev. 8:3–4)."

I’ve been trying to memorise the first part of the prayer, I know only so little about it though even the Eastern Orthodox version of it.

Mary is creation. Saints are creation.

If you think we pray *to* saints and Mary then you don't really truly understand the practice.

I don't remember if as written they were able to recover true faith in Jesus or not..... and what if any the requirements for recovery , according to Scripture, are ?
