  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok. It's ok. We found her. Gosh stuff like that just scares me to death! My hands are still shaking. She was a whole culdesac over INSIDE someone's house playing with their child! This family is very new to the area and know no-one really. Poor Veronica, bless her heart, she just panicked. I'm the same way, though, so I panicked right along with her. :o

Thank you all so much! I love you guys.

It is the most paralyzing thing, Abba. It is so frightening. I panic when I can't find my kids. I absolutely fall apart. Scrapes, cuts, concussion, dismemberment...I can handle. Missing kids...I'm a total wreck. If my computer wasn't right next to the front door, I wouldn't have left this thread. All I could think though, was someone needs to pray. I knew you guys would come through. :)

I know how terrifying and paralyzing it can be.

Our first child died of SIDS at three months, so when our second disappeared around the age of 2, I panicked big time! I looked everywhere . . I couldn't find her and I didn't waste any time calling the cops . .

A young and very nice policeman came and as he listened to this hysterical mother, he walked down the hallway and called my child's name . .

Suddenly, out popped my little girl with this very surprised and startled look on her face! She had decided to play a trick on mommy and hid very, very well in mommy's closet (which mommy had checked TWICE! . ..

Hearing a stranger call her name startled her so much she jumped out!

But even now, if I can't find one of mine, a certain fear begins to set in . .

I am so glad she was found safe and sound. :)

Give your neighbor a hug for me! :)

Peace in Him!

As a mum of two children, i know exactly how panic stricken us mums can get! I still try to get my daughter to hold my hand when we are crossing the road...she's 13 next week :D

I'm so relieved that everything turned out well, i saw the thread title and started to pray! Thank the Lord that this child is safe and well.

God Bless.
