(un-finshed(?) poem. last update: 11/20/03 12:56am)
Stabbed one too many times by the rusty blade of your knife.
My heart can no longer heal.
Damaged…
Scarred and uggly…
Cold and dead…

Look me in the eyes, and tell me the truth!
What do you see?
Who do you see?
Who am I?
Can you see into my soul?
Can you see what’s in my heart?
Can you it’s scarred and bleeding?
Do you understand that it’s people like you who stab me?
Do you understand why it’s so hard for me to find trust?

You’ve stabbed me one to many times with your rusty knife,
Cutting deep into my heart.
I’d never let you know the pain you’ve caused,
but it’s there, burning like a fire, cutting away at all I am.

Look deep into my eyes, my dark brown eyes, blood shot, and crying.
Tell me…
Tell me…
Do you love me?
Do you hate me?
Do you trust me?
Can I trust you?

I gasp for breath, and through my tears I manage to say…
I love you!
I want to be with you!
My heart, allthough scarred and bleeding, needs you.
Healing might hurt, but I’m ready.
Please tell me…
tell me…

Tell me you’ll be there when I need you.
Tell me I can trust you.
Tell me you love me.

I want to try again!
I want to heal!
Scars will fade, pain will cease.
Nothing matters when I’m with you.
I want to be with you.

Hey, I do want to thank you for the suggestions. I don't write poetry that offten, I posted all of what I have written over the past 2 years here. I do enjoy writting it even though I feel like I'm not good at it.

n btw, i guess ur sn is from reliant k? i like them a lot,
when I was listening to those words r not enough i was really
hit, had a huge effect on me =) wishin u allll the best!!

Yeah, my s/n came from the RK song. I don't really like RK that much anymore though.
