There are 613 laws. Which ones are exactly considered sins in the NT?

and how do you know if your sinning? I am not keeping the Sabbath, but I noticed many people don't rest on the 7th day.

The Holy Spirit is not convicting me of this one, but will convict me of other sins. And how severe is the conviction supposed to be? Some sins I get a greater conviction and it makes me repent right away.

What happens if you don't repent and resist? Which I wouldn't do since its not worth it. Are they in danger if they resist?

The only times I get convictions if I do something morally wrong, or ethically wrong. But I am also breaking some law out there probably without knowing.

Are we supposed to be transformed in an instant and follow all the laws, or does it take time?

You would need to post the laws.

I was just reading this yesterday. Galatians 516 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Rather than examining a list, I find victory in striving to be attentive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, in quick repentance, and receiving the power to walk in the new creation life. Jesus has triumphed over the power of sin, and is transforming me into His image as I walk daily with Him.

Hi John, God has promised to sanctify you/grow you up in Christlikeness throughout the remainder of your days .. Philippians 1:6. No one is transformed in an instant, rather, we are called to "work out our salvation with fear and trembling" alongside of the One who saved us in the first place and continues His mighty work in us to see us safely through this life to Glory .. Philippians 2:12-13; Hebrews 7:25.

Just to be clear, Philippians 2:12 was written expressly to the community of believers, IOW, to those who are already saved. We are not called to "work up" or "work at" or "work for" our salvation, rather, we are called to "work out" the salvation that we ~already~ possess .. cf John 5:24.

Also, Phil 2:12's, "fear and trembling", is not meant to be understood as if we should live in fear/dread of God (there is no sense of that in this Chapter, or elsewhere in the Bible for that matter, where those of us who are His are concerned), but we are to live in joyful and reverent awe of Him who loves us so as we seek to continually grow in greater knowledge/understanding and obedience each and every day of our lives.

God at Work in You, Part 1

Here are some verses to consider that will help you know how to grow in obedience (and how to recognize what sin is .. and what it is not .. as well what His will for you is .. Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3, 119:9-11; Romans 12:2; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). As you read through these verses, see if you can recognize a theme emerging ;)

Yours and His,
David
p.s. - because I had lived such a sinful life before becoming a Christian, I knew how displeasing I must have been to God up until the time I came to faith in Him. So after experiencing the wonder and joy of being saved, & the weight of all of that sin and guilt being lifted off of my shoulders (I was 30 when I became a Christian), my very first thought as a Christian was that I never wanted to be displeasing to Him again! So while I knew what not to do (in general anyway), I really didn't know what was truly pleasing to Him, and what His will for me/my life was, and then this thought came to mind .. "Bible"

Christian radio was a big part of my growing in Christlikeness as a young Christian, and it still is today. The good news is, you can listen to the same teachings 24/7 now, and at a time that fits your schedule thanks to the Internet.

Jumping in a listening to one of these lectures or sermons each day is a great way to grow in your knowledge and understanding of both the Bible and or its Author  Here are a few sites you might like to try:
