unreal tourn, counterstrike, quake...

what do you guys feel about these games?

i'll vote first.
i picked the first one. i honestly see nothing wrong with them. it's basically like any other game you play.

it's just a game of skill.

and really, it doesn't have anything bad in them.

i don't know. i'm just wondering what other people think of them. eh...if i can think of more to write, i will later.

I voted 2: I am not a big fan of blood and gore all over the place and prefer a good storyline to how the pixels splatter, but I am not going to judge someone as right or wrong for playing games like those. I simply choose not to play them myself and not to watch others play them, because I do not like gory scenes in fiction (I almost threw up at the Sephiroth-kills-Aeris scene in FFVII) but this is a matter of personal aesthetics more than conviction. Sort of like I do not feel it sinful to take a table near the restroom in a restaurant, but I do feel very disgusted and am unable to enjoy my meal at all.

Now GTA is another matter entirely owing to its being hentai, and I will unequivocally say that I am against GTA out of conviction. Don't get me started on that rant. ~.^

I play Unreal Tournament 2003 everyday. I love it, it's one of the best games of 2002.

I go by blasteddead. I'm trying to get into a clan called Crackaz (CTI). I only play Instagib sometimes I play allweapons but not a lot.

i can only play instagib now. i ruined my game with real weapons. i'm just in a group with my brother and his gf. people were getting mad at us, cuz we were always together. um...
my brother is was called a_window
his gf is called a_door
and i''m called a_doorknob

we switch sometimes. i usually keep my name. but friends come over, so they use each others' names.

 

weird...cuz someone asked me where i was from in the middle of a game.  mmm...???   i didn't realize.  but she ^ told me that someone had asked me.

Heh I like instagib because it's fair, and helps you aim better.

The whole game. I played the demo for a very long time but I wanted to play more maps.

Don't see anything wrong with it. I've quit playing alot of computer games (except warcraft 3 ) now since they've been really good at sucking the liveliness out of me.
Just as long as you don't turn out addicted to those games.

i'm not too good at counterstrike, so i haven't played that in a long while.
quake is nothing compared to unreal tourn IMO.
unreal tourn 2003...i like CTF, TDM, and BR.
