This unbeliever in Christianity, but not Christ, sees the Biblical creation story as an ancient midddle-eastern story that set for them the relationship between man and God. Today we have the wonders of science that has opened a window into the actual workings of the creation process, as God's own Creation is showing us, which includes the changes of the earth. Personally I believe what the Earth is showing us of itSelf over an ancient middle-eastern creation story and still maintain that God/Man relationship.Unbelievers see "fakes" in every page of the Bible and every nook and cranny in the earth, don't they?
Creationists aren't "unbelievers"; they just don't approve of some of the things God does.Unbelievers see "fakes" in every page of the Bible and every nook and cranny in the earth, don't they?

Either it was formed by erosion (that's what the evidence shows) or God faked it to fool us.
Actually, it's been a huge blessing to be freed into God.That explains your problem, right there.
It's much more recent. Around the end of the last ice age,Did the Mississippi River fool you too?
That's actually a good question. No uplift of land in the Mississippi valley. Entrenched meanders only happen to old streams that have been uplifted, Want to talk about how that works? Why isn't there a grand canyon in the Midwest?
Actually, it's been a huge blessing to be freed into God.
Want to talk about how that works?
Too bad. It's an interesting process we see happening in a number of other rivers. No, thank you.
Actually, it works on rivers. A matter of physics. Not hard to understand. It works on paper.
Reality works for me,That's good enough for you ... right?
It works because that's what Earth itSelf is showing us.No, thank you.
It works on paper.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the changing geology of the Earth and what it has to show us about itSelf.Romans 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
That has absolutely nothing to do with the changing geology of the Earth and what it has to show us about itSelf.
As we've been through this already, your the one going to paper rather than what the Earth is actually showing us.
Nope, Romans 8:22 has to do with salvation. It has nothing to do with the Grand Canyon.Actually it does.
The Grand Canyon was created in an instant of time; not over millions of years.
Agreed.Two different authors though.
One authored the Earth and signed off with His own signature.
Well, our home is of interest to us. We like to know what makes her tick. We live here after all. So we study the Earth to see what she can show us of her self. The more we learn about the Earth, the more refined our knowledge is of the Earth and able to correct those misinterpretations.Uh-huh.
And "this island earth" has been studied intently with a microscope and misinterpreted nine times out of ten.
Well, our home is of interest to us.
Could you move your science threads to a sectionActually, it's been a huge blessing to be freed into God.
Could you move your science threads to a section
where we can discuss like data, discoveries, ideas
without constant interruption with unrelated topics?
I have decided to start reporting posts that are steered towards creationism in this forum as there is one individual in particular who thinks he is above the rules.Unfortunately, there are posters who insist on repeatedly introducing the same Biblical/Creationist arguments into this Forum, drawing the thread off topic and outside of its purpose.
I am not in the habit of reporting posters for rule infringements, however I am getting a little tired of seeing every science related post turned into the same argument about Creationism.
