  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This one brings back memories from when I was like five. The divine unicorn, despised by the other gods, who befriends a devil, and rescues a cat from an evil prince.

Then I grew up and started worshiping Christ, who is also despised by the other gods, befriends the sinner, and saves his bride from the prince of the powers of the air.

Well the unicorn didn't have to die for our sins, but he was exiled to the isle of oblivion where he allowed the devil to borrow his horn, and he nearly drowned in the ocean when trusting said Devil to come and save him. Knowing kind hearted Unico, he would've died for our sins, to forgive the young devils we are.

Then we've got the sequel. This time the divine unicorn must do battle with the great magician who turns people into solid puppets that all become part of a huge tower for the amusement of a discarded toy.

Of course when I got older I learned that "all in all you're just a... nother brick in the wall." And he gave life onto the image of the beast that the image should both talk and cause that as many as would not worship it to be killed.

Now we just need for Christ to return, coming in the clouds in his glory, riding atop a white Unicorn. That would make my day :)

Isn't that crazy?! It probably referred to an antelope that had one horn.

There are also descriptions of dragons -- see Job. Like other legendary creatures, scientists are beginning to see that discrediting them is not necessarily sensible. Most cultures around the world have reports or stories of various animals that are no longer in existence.

We might not have evidence of certain animals if cartilage decayed faster than bone, or they walked into water bodies to die.
