  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Three main covenants..1) blood covenant..represented through Adam..the sacrifice of an animal to provide clothing to cover their shame, Cain..the crime of murder, earth's cry for blood..Noah..anyone who sheds the blood of a human being.
2) salt covenant..represented by Abraham and Jacob..more on the lines of a business arrangment between God and mankind..you do this/I do that. A bag of salt carried by two Jewish merchants, a pinch of salt intermixed at the end of a deal..how can it be broken or seperated.
3) sandal covenant..a more intimate arrangment between man and God..represented by Moses and David..when Moses talked to God..the burning bush..required to remove his sandals before entering holy ground.
Now comes the important ingredients of our Communion..blood covenant is wine, salt covenant is bread of life, sandal covenant is washing of the feet..all represented at the Last Supper.
