This is all numerological bull.

So are you saying that the dates that you use, the numbers of the minutes and seconds on your watch, and the days of the years as they are counted today conventionally are unimportant?

Do you think that the fact that there have been traditionally "360 degrees" assigned to a circle that this is not part of the Bible's scheme of things. I would beg to differ on these points if you do. It only takes a little study to see the Biblical numerical principles enmessed into all of the time conventions that we use in this modern world today.

360 degrees to a circle is probably Greek tbqh can we move away from Greek concordism to viewing the Bible as a thoroughly Hebrew document please?

I wouldn't. I would prefer to view the Bible as an English, a German or a Slavic document. These is where the good meat lies today!

The Bible is not a mathematics textbook. Because if it was Pi would be equal to 3.

And the sexagesimal system predates the Bible FYI.

It was the Old Testament Covanant that was in Hebrew. But we have progressed far past that since then.

That doesn't mean that we're supposed to adhoc and try to cram in pagan ideas/ideologies into the Bible though, far from it Paul says we are to uphold the Law even though we are under Grace.

So I show you how you can pick and choose numbers to fit any numerological system you want and rejig numbers to make them fit. What is you response? You just pick more numbers to make them fit. You rejig the Bablyonian 60 based number system to find a 6. How is the number 7 supposed to be at the center of 12? Why should we even imagine number games like that have any significance?

The bible does use numbers symbolically, but once you leave the symbolism specifically used in the bible and the understanding the writers used some numbers for their symbolic significance, and start looking for you own mystical numbers it is too easy to end up following every harebrained scheme an imagination can concoct.

The Bible is a textbook where numbers demonstrate many principles indeed. When the numbers used for verse numbering and chapter and book numbering are considered it is a phenomenal miracle on paper! This is a subject which helps bible scholars understand more.

The Bible's sexagesimal system predates all other contenders. This is the state of historical Biblical archeology today. There are no other writtings, cave scrachings or noted timetables in which a completion of activity is measured over "six days." And on the seventh day God rested.Gen.2;2 It was all finished says Gen.2;1 This is the original pattern for the sexagesimal system in this world. Remember that the Babylonians were not designing thier systems until the times of Daniel around 520BC.

Look at how the numbers from one to seven are entrenched into the Holy Bible! Some say the numbers for the Bible's verses and chapters were not even added until later European times. At this time no translators could have changed anything as there were already many copies of each of the Biblical writtings. Yet today's Protestant 66 book Bible has a perfect and amazing canon arrangement.

In the seventh chapter of the first book of the Bible called Genesis, Noah and his family sit and rest in the Ark. They do not come out until Genesis chapter 8. God rested on the seventh day. Gen.2;2

In the seventh chapter of the last book of the Bible called Revelation the "regenerated 12 tribes of Christian Israel" are sealed. They are sealed for the seventh millennium/seventh seal of Rev.8;1 The 7th millennium begins in Rev.8 just as Noah's descendants descended back into the world in Gen.8
Jesus was as the Sun, and the sun was created on the fouth Genesis day. Jesus Christ arrived on earth during the end of the fourth millennium after Adam. The numbering in the Bible could not be made designed by men.

Consider the following; The bible verses "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God," is in Isaiah 40;3.

In the Protestant 66 book canon Bible this verse is in the 40th book and in verse 3. Matt.3;3 When you study how the Bible canons were put together and arrived at, this is truly a miracle beyond the doing of human hands!

That doesn't mean that we're supposed to adhoc and try to cram in pagan ideas/ideologies into the Bible though, far from it Paul says we are to uphold the Law even though we are under Grace.

Paul does indeed insinuate that someone who is a born again Christian will not have to follow the law as a follower. But he will do all the deeds of the law and more out of his own heart's and mind's convictions. This is the meaning of Jesus's second covenant.Heb.8;10 But you are certainly correct in the fact that Christians will not be law breakers. (unless of course it is something of compassion or mercy such as healing on the Sabbath day)

BUT THE LAW IMPOSED FROM OUTSIDE OF OURSELVES IS A CURSE!

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse:..." Gal.3;10

"But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed." Gal.3;23

"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ,..." Gal.3;24

We Christians don't follow the law anymore. We invent it from our conscience. That is what Jer.31;31 means when it says;

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah." This is speaking about the second covenant "regeneration" of Christian Israel and Judah.

"Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers..."

"But this shall be the covanant that I make with the house of Israel..."(*not it says only "Israel" here)

"I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts,..."

"And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother,........for they shall all know me,..." Jer.31;31-34

Then Jer.31;35,36 says;

"Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the Sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night,.....
"If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever."

hey look numerology! Wacky that people still want to play around with this, also who cares what the basis of Babylonian time is we inherit our spiritualism not from them but from the Hebrews

Sometimes I think that the Babylonians inherited thier numerical cosmologies and understandings from the Israelites. Remember that the 10 tribes of Israel were taken off eastward towards Babylon by the Assyrians in 721BC. And the tribe of Judah with some Benjaminites were taken for 70 years in Babylon in 586BC. Maybe historians are giving the Babylonians credit for their numbers system, where "credit is not due!" (Just a thought that needs scholastic confirmantion.)

You ask "how is a 7th place in the center of 12 places. Well the example is given in Numbers chapter two. Here are named six tribes of Israel. Then the camp of God is described. Then another six tribes are told where to camp. So "7" is the center space between the six numbers on one side and the six on the other. The number 12 can be divided by a space with six on each side. There is nothing in the space. "No man has seen God at any time."

There are 12 gates to the holy city of Jerusalem. Eze.48;31 Jesus told us that his body as the temple would be destroyed and raised up after three days.Jn.2;19-21 The human body has 12 entrances. Jesus told us that the "kingdom of God is within."Lk.17;22

The number 4 is the center of 7. Jesus is the light/sun which was created on the Genesis 4th day.Gen.1;16 That was the center of God's seven day Genesis creation. Jesus is the center of God's world, he is God's son. Whereas God as the number 7 is seen as an emply space to us, Jesus's number 4 is a visible number as is a man among men. Jesus came to earth as a man for us to see, but God to us is invisable.

The tribe of Judah use a "seven sticked canlelabra." This places the "4th" candle at the very center from whichever way you count. Judah was the "4th born" son of Israel. He was prophesied by his father to hold the sceptre until shiloah comes.Gen.49;10
