Part one of two

Using your Bible to identify the beast. When you come to the truth you will also see the Sabbath and how it honors God, which Satan hates.

In this very short study I will be using just a fraction of the information out there to reveal life changing truth. I would ask you to continue to search these things out for yourself so that you too could be a bright light in the world for the truth of God.

The Bible identifies the beast as a, kingdom.

Daniel 7:23 "Thus he said: `The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces.

A horn in the Bible is another symbol for a king and his kingdom and is used in conjunction with the beast symbol.

Daniel 7:24 The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; he shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings.

The beast kingdom is called a little horn because it’s the smallest of all the other world kingdoms. The Vatican city is that little horn kingdom. The Vatican city takes up just a few acres yet it is one of the most influential and richest kingdoms of them all. It’s also different than all the other world kingdoms, in that, the other world kingdoms are governmental kingdoms, where as, the beast kingdom is a religious kingdom because its dealing with worship and exaltation.

This beast kingdom will have a man at the head, which is the Papal seat, and will speak pompous words.

Daniel 7:8 "I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

Take some time and search your history books and you will know who the three horns (Heruli, in A.D. 493;- Vandals, in A.D. 534;- Ostrogoths, in A.D. 538.) were who were plucked up by the little horn (kingdom) and will also learn who the little horn is.

The head of this beast (kingdom) will speak pompous words against the most high God and will think to change God’s time and law and will persecute the saints.

Daniel 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.

This man at the head of this kingdom will sit in the temple of God, which is the church today, and show himself to be God.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Lets pause right here and begin search the official Roman Catholic records so we can start putting this together. As we begin to read the official statements made by the Vatican city and its authority, you will begin to see Bible prophecy come to life.

The Bible tells us that the head of this beast kingdom will show himself to be God. Lets see what the official Roman Catholic church has to say about the position and authority of the Pope. Now keep in mind, it does not matter what you personally believe or what your church believe, these are statements made by the Vatican city and its authority so they hold the true position of doctrine and belief.

Though there are many quotes, I will only use a couple of them for each topic for the sake of time and space.

Does the seat of the Pope hold the position of God?

"The pope is of so great dignity and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God, and the vicar of God... "The Pope alone is called most holy..."Hence the Pope is crowned with a triple crown, as king of heaven and of earth and of hell. "Moreover the superiority and the power of the Roman Pontiff by no means pertains only to heavenly things, but also earthly things, and to things under the earth, and even over the angels, whom he his greater than. "So that if it were possible that the angels might err in the faith, or might think contrary to the faith, they could be judged and excommunicated by the Pope.... "the Pope is as it were God on earth, sole sovereign of the faithful of Christ, chief of kings, having plenitude of power." Lucius Ferraris, in "Prompta Bibliotheca Canonica, Juridica, Moralis, Theologica, Ascetica, Polemica, Rubristica, Historica", Volume V, article on "Papa, Article II", titled "Concerning the extent of Papal dignity, authority, or dominion and infallibility", #1, 5, 13-15, 18, published in Petit-Montrouge (Paris) by J. P. Migne, 1858 edition.

“We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty..." Pope Leo XIII, in Praeclara Gratulationis Publicae (The Reunion of Christendom), Encyclical promulgated on June 20, 1894.

"The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth...by divine right the Pope has supreme and full power in faith, in morals over each and every pastor and his flock. He is the true vicar, the head of the entire church, the father and teacher of all Christians. He is the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author of and the judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth, the judge of all, being judged by no one, God himself on earth." Quoted in the New York Catechism.

"The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth." Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, "Cities Petrus Bertanous".

Do these sound like pompous words?

The Bible tells us that this beast kingdom with change God time and law. Lets do our research and see if the Papal seat fit’s the identity of the beast kingdom.

What time did the authority of the Papal Rome change?

All through out Scripture we find God calling the seventh day Sabbath holy and sanctified. We find that those who keep the seventh day Sabbath holy reveal the God they worship.

Did the Papal authority change God’s time, which is the seventh day Sabbath (Saturday), which God calls holy and blessed, and make it the first day, which is Sunday? Lets go to the authority of the Papal seat to find out.

This next statements is taken right from the official Catechism of the Roman Catholic church. If you go and get a brand new you will find this in it.

"Question - Which is the Sabbath day?
"Answer - Saturday is the Sabbath day.
"Question - Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
"Answer - We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 364), transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday." Peter Geiermann, C.S.S.R., The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50, 3rd edition, 1957.

"Sunday is a Catholic institution and its claim to observance can be defended only on Catholic principles....From beginning to end of Scripture there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week to the first." Catholic Press, Sydney, Australia, August, 1900.

"It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church." Priest Brady, in an address reported in The News, Elizabeth, New Jersey, March 18, 1903.

"The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the Church had changed...the Sabbath into Sunday, not by command of Christ, but by its own authority." Canon and Tradition, p. 263.

"Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact." Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1,1923.

"I have repeatedly offered $1,000 to anyone who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound to keep Sunday holy. There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says, ‘Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.’ The Catholic Church says: ‘No. By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week.’ And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in a reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic Church." father T. Part two of two

The Bible tells us that the beast will change God’s law. Let us do some research into how the beast changed God’s law.

The Ten Commandments were written in stone with God’s own finger painting a picture of authority and permanence.

Lets look at the Ten Commandments of God and compare them with the Roman Catholic church’s version.

God’s Ten Commandments

You can find these in your Bible in Exodus 20:3-17

1. "You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of
anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or
that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them
nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting
the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth
generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands,
to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3. "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord
will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor
and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord
your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your
daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your
cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the
Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them,
and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath
day and hallowed it.
5. "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon
the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6. "You shall not murder.
7. "You shall not commit adultery.
8. "You shall not steal.
9. "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10."You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your
neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his
ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.''

Now lets compare these with the beast’s version. You tell me if any changes were made to God’s law.

10 Commandments of God Catholic Version
1. I am the Lord your God; you shall not have strange gods before me.
2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
3. Remember to keep holy the Lord's day
4. Honor your father and your mother.
5. You shall not kill.
6. You shall not commit adultery.
7.You shall not steal.
8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
10. You shall not covet you neighbor's goods.

If you take off your denominational glasses you will see that the second commandment has been removed all together. You will also see that the fourth commandment has now becomes the third commandment. This now leaves only nine commandments. So how did they fix that? They made two commandments out of the tenth commandment. This is a clear fulfillment of Bible prophecy and the word of God. To deny this is to resist the work of the Spirit of truth to bring about salvation.

The Bible says that this beast kingdom will wear out and persecute the saints.

"When confronted with heresy, she (The Catholic Church) does not content herself with persuasion, arguments of an intellectual and moral order appear to her insufficient, and she has recourse to force, to corporal punishment, to torture." H.M.A. Baudrillart, Rector of the Catholic Institute of Paris, in "The Catholic Church, The Renassance, and Protestantism", p 182-183.

"The archbishop of St. Louis said: 'Heresy and unbelief are crimes; and in Christian countries, as in Italy and Spain, for instance, where all people are Catholics, and where the Catholic religion is an essential part of the law of the land, they are punished as crimes.... "'Every cardinal, archbishop, and bishop in the Catholic Church takes an oath of allegiance to the pope, in which occur the following words: 'Heretic, schismatics, and rebels to our said lord (the pope), or his aforesaid successors, I will to my utmost persecute and oppose.'" Josiah Strong, in "Our Country," ch. 5, pars 2-4.

During the crusades, such as the Spanish inquisition, thousands of people were killed for not accepting the Roman Catholic church doctrines. This included people, such as the Waldensees, who were believers but didn’t hold to the Catholic dogma.

The Bible tells us that the beast will opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God. The word is called God and carries God’s authority. Does the Papal seat speak over the word of God?

"She (the Catholic Church) is not the child of the Bible, as many non-Catholics imagine, but its mother. She derives neither her existence nor her teaching authority from the New Testament." The Faith of Millions, by Rev. John A. O'Brien, Ph.D., LL.D., p 146, published by Our Sunday Visitor, Huntington, Ind., 1938, ("nihil obstat" by Rev. T. E. Dillon-Censor Librorum and "imprimatur" by John Francis Noll, D.D. -Bishop of Fort Wayne).

"If we must choose between the Holy Scriptures of God, and the old errors of the church, we should reject the former."Johnan Faber (a defender of the Papacy) cited in History of The Reformation, by Merle d'Aubinge, book 11, Chapter 5, Paragraph 9.

"Like two sacred rivers flowing from paradaise, the Bible and divine tradition contain the word of God, the precious gems of revealed truths. Though these two divine streams are in themselves, on acount of their divine origin, of equal sacredness, and are both full of revealed truths, still of the two, tradition is to us more clear and safe." Catholic Belief, by Joseph Faa di Bruno, p 45.

Although there is much more to be said, we have seen in this short study some amazing facts, which shed light on the identity of the beast kingdom.

False teaching that come from Rome, such as Easter Sunday being the resurrection of Christ, has to be exposed in order for the true light to come in. Easter Sunday is not the resurrection of Christ, but rather, it’s based on the sun of which many of the Catholic doctrines are based. We know Easter is not the resurrection of Jesus because Easter is celebrated a different day every year. Why is this? Because it’s based on the solar system and not Jesus’ resurrection. This form of worship comes straight from Babylon in which Papal Rome is deep into as seen in Sunday worship, the sun image being used in many of the Catholic symbols, celebration of Jesus’ birth day on December 25th and much, much more. All these beliefs have their roots in Babylon. This is why, in these last days, God is calling His people out of Babylon, which is that belief system with all it‘s practices.

Revelation 18:1-5 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a habitation of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! "For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.'' And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. "For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
