Is it wrong for you to have under-age sex with children? Even if your 18, and the girl is 17? What are your views/beliefs on this?
Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. I would have to say im in complete agreement with you. Especially these people that are in their 60's having sex 15 yr. olds. I think its sick, and very wrong.fluffy_rainbow said:Pre-marital sex at any age is sinful.
Yes, I agree.fluffy_rainbow said:Well that is definitely statutory rape and it's terrible. Now, if you had say a nineteen year old guy and a seventeen year old girl, if they are in a serious relationship they should wait until they're married to have sex anyway.

Im in complete agreement with you, it is sick, and nasty, and I cant believe that the government allows states to have limits like that.hyperborean said:Speaking of MARRIAGE. Here are just a few states were it is legal to marry being underage {with parental consent}
Alabama: age 14
Alaska: age 16
Hawaii: age 15
Kansas: age 12!!!!{for girls} age 14 for boys. Ummm, what the heck?
Mississipi: NO AGE LIMIT.
New Hampshire: 13 {for girls} 14{for boys}

I would have to say, that im in agreement with you there.stray bullet said:Well, I think that is legal here in Oklahoma.
I think any sex outside of marriage is wrong and sex with someone too immature to understand the consequences, moral and life-long is disgusting.

I think its their choice, but I mean if your going by what the bible says, then your definately in the wrong.... (If your not married). Now as far as sex when you are married, I dont think theres a thing wrong with it. Its only natural for husband and wife.CypressLB said:Ok, since everyone's hyped up on "It's wrong outside of marriage" think of it this way. If someone who's 18 marries someone who's 17 and they have sex, is that wrong?

What about selling your daughter into slavery? That is, as a sex slave. Exodus 21:7-11hyperborean said:The bible mentions nothing of age requirements for marriage. Does it mention age of consent? I don't think it does.
Sorry Ill have to look it up and get back to you on that one....hyperborean said:The bible mentions nothing of age requirements for marriage. Does it mention age of consent? I don't think it does.
I think since the whole idea was mine to begin with it doesnt matter what i "tread on"hyperborean said:Sort of a mixed message isn't it? I think the idea was to not to tread on personal "religious" beliefs. Boy did that ever backfire. Those laws are still in the books however.
I guess it really depends on the morals of the person. If you go by the bible, you really should be married first. But yes, the second scenarios does "look better"Soc12 said:So most of you people think that if 2 people who are like 18, known each other for barely any time at all, run off to Vegas and get married, it's OK for them to have sex, but if two people have been deeply in love for years and are in their 20s that it's not OK for them? I think God would think that the second of the two scenarios is much better, and even fine.
