Unclear dream

I had a dream that I am unclear about. The places in the dream are Russia, Texas and Haiti.

I dreamt I was on an island with my family on vacation. We were by the information desk. When I looked outside I remember seeing the sea, it was very beautiful, the sun was shining brightly and the atmosphere was nice. Then I saw a Russian family come up to the lady behind the information booth. The family consisted of a man, his wife and his two children. This man started quarrelling and he shouted to the woman at the information desk saying that he was moving to Point __ (I can’t remember the full name of the place) Then he stated he is going South and he also mentioned Texas. I think this man was a professor. Then I saw a map appear before me of a country. The map was yellow and it did not have the name of any places in that country. I saw borders though separating one county/city from another. I don’t know what country it was. Then the dream shifted and I was looking at the television and I saw a woman from Haiti cleaning up the outside of her house. There were broken things outside. It was night time. Then on the television screen I saw the words Hurricane 1968. Then on the television the woman stated that she wanted to move to America. I remember saying after that in the dream the poor wants to move to the rich countries and the rich wants to move to the poor countries. Any ideas?

Also I think all the places in the dream are very important.

China has been showing up a lot. If you look at race classifications by color, yellow is a color associated with the Chinese, and China is divided. Only part of it is communist.

I've had a front desk show up in one of my dreams, too. There was gunfire.

The US has just bought some kind of x-ray equipment from communist China for checking imports coming into the US. A port could be symbolized by an information or a front reception desk, so maybe that is what your dream is related to.

Odd about Russian professor moving to Texas. Is there anything else you remember him saying? What about the country, was there any details at all more?

I would bet there was a great hurricane in 1968? I would look it up. Haiti is in Hurricane path. Hurricanes cause broken things in the outside.

When do poor people want to move to rich countries? All the time.

When do rich people want to move to poor countries? Well, most especially during hard economic times, because in poorer countries the riches go much further there. But in richer times, one risks quite a bit. So, the trend increases during tougher economic times.

Hurricane season is over for now, not until next Spring again (except for the Atlantic, I think).

I don't remember the professor saying anything more. I know though he was very upset where he was and wanted to move somewhere else. He gave the name of a specific place but I don't remember the name.
When I saw the maps I did not see any more details. The place the map was pointing on was shaped a little odd, a little different. I personally don't think it's America. I checked on 1968 an Haiti was not hit by any hurricane during that time.

Hopefully God will give me the dream again if it does means anything at all.

A couple weeks ago, there were worries about the Russian warships preparing for military maneuvers in the Gulf, with Venezuela. A good reason for the UN to stick around in Haiti.

If Russia and Venezuela made any attempt to move in to Haiti and DR, they would have an extremely strategic position to threaten the US. They already have rights to oil exploration quite high up in the Gulf.

When I read "Point __" I thought Florida. Or the ports in the Caribbean. It is a typical name for a coastal resort, as it usually describes a jut of land into the water. But I don't always understand these phrases that pop into dreams with such tip-of-the-tongue meaning.

The plans and activities going on south of the US are certainly worth our attention and prayer.

The only thing that comes to me about the Russian professor, is that he is respectable, and one would wonder why there might be a conflict or danger when he is not militant. The way that Russian scientists and great minds were left, they have had to struggle for pay and make choices that were inconsistent with their ethics, in order to survive. His family might represent the citizens of Russia, where the professor represents the choices of strategy and reason in Russia's next moves. (Man hunter : Woman gatherer)

The decision to move in would not necessarily be anger or spite (contrast Venezuela) ... and I am getting this impression from many dreams people are having. Russian scientists have worked with US scientists on projects for years. Russian leaders have had friendly negotiations with US leaders. But when a bear is hungry, and weighs 500 pounds, it might take the berries that the raccoons were planning to eat.

I'm not sure I the site anymore, but I remember reading about someone either discussing or having a prophecy about our enemy would come up through TX. This would be easy to do IMHO as the boarder protection is pathetic and the government knows that.

I would look over a map of Asia, the Middle East and such to see if there is anything that rings a bell.

Heron has pointed out some ideas, I think are possibilities.

On Venezula and Russia... they had wargames in the Pacific recently. One thing I did not see in the mainstream media was also two more disturbing facts about that. One was that Venezula and Russia actually started having nuclear talks at the same time, as in Russia giving Venezula nuclear technology. The other was about the same time as this wargames scenario, China came and made a deal with Venezula to create advanced refineries in Venezula. That is important because Venezula is now ruled by Chavez who supports terrorism, and he is very anti-American. However, what a lot of people do not realize is Venezula's oil is very polluted. So, we have been their key for refining that oil requiring very specialized technology. Venezula, therefore, has had a sort of leash by us. And this leash they have said they want to remove.

Russian Professors... thing is, a lot of guys that might have done work on nuclear technology or biowarfare or other scary stuff might also be professors. Some of these phds may have come from that area, one of these sensitive areas, to go into being a professor... others might have worked in that sensitive area while at the same time being a professor.

As for Texas... full disclosure, I am from Texas. I keep track somewhat on prophecies relating to Texas. Invading Texas, let me say, well, we here would say, "Bring it on".

Hurricanes do come through Texas, and they might pass through Jamaica first. This has been one concern, with some potentially dangerous hurricanes.

What you have so far, are some puzzle pieces, but not sure yet where they fit. Some research can help, God does give us clues which can be backtracked like that. More dreams can help and often do. Prayer, therefore, is important, as is any other seeking behavior.

It's good to know that our states take on roles just like members of the Body. We mostly have "bring it on" talkers here up north.

The yellow map of regions... yellow can be a happy color, but also a little annoying or sickly if it's mixed, like mustard looks sophisticated in some places and putrid in others. Alert, happy, sometimes young, optimistic, sometimes pushing aside realities (like light dispels darkness).

(For those of you who don't agree with dream books, this description of yellow is just observation and cultural opinions.)

Well, I was jesting a bit... but that is the nature of Texans.

A lot of it is the independant history of the state, and the story of the Alamo resonates to every Texan. It is unique and something kids take to heart.

The climate here is very rough, very hot and humid during the long summers. A lot of the population here is Scot-Irish and that culture of independent, clannish mindset has influenced the rest of the State's cultures in that way. Besides that other cultures of a like mind tend to take root here. (It is the fourth most diverse state in the Union.)

I did point out elsewhere that such an invasion (if that is what it was) could only begin to take place in the case of a very severe destruction of the States already, however... one reason being any sort of troop movement is something our intelligence services can very easily take track of.

The story of the Alamo, itself, is pretty intense for kids to learn about and take to heart... with some very colorful characters in it which are hard to forget and easy to idealize.

In other words, the idea of holding ground and keeping freedom against imposing totalitarianists... is something put under deep consideration from the start with Texas kids.

Granted, America herself is built up largely from cultures who found no acceptance and great difficulty elsewhere in the world... and they came here for freedom... not just economic freedom.

When I visited Texas once, I was surprised how much more it was like the North than other southern states, but I could feel that firmness in the atmosphere. Not the hot shot attitudes thrown around on TV -- just conviction. Assuredness. (Which we northerners can drain out of ourselves with harriedness.)

Hi Heron, I found out a couple of things more about my dream. Whenever I have a dream I feel has some meaning I tend to research as much about it as I can.

I decided to do a bit of digging and found out that in Texas there seems to be a growing Russian community. Perhaps this is significant in some way.

In terms of the Hurricane 1968 I am still baffled. I personally think it refers to an actual hurricane and not a symbolic hurricane.

That's interesting! Maybe the Spirit was leading you to pray for one specific person.

Many countries have been involved in weather modification for decades. Before 1968, it was limited more to cloud seeding. You can imagine how technologically advanced it might be now. And how devices would take up less space.

There was a portion of this dream I left out purposely because of the nature of that part of the dream. I don't know if it means I am a evil Christian or something.

After the first part of the dream took place I dreamt that I was trying to seduce that professor to have sex with me at my home but he resisted and refused to have sex with me. Then he was no longer in the dream and I dreamt that I was moving through burglar bars like a snake. At this point it seemed as if I was having an outer body experience because I could see myself from outside of my body. Also burglar bars are something put on a window to prevent thieves from breaking in a home. While I was going through the burglar bars I saw myself wearing pyjamas. This pyjama was very dark blue in colour and it had a lot of stars on it. Then I climbed out from the burgular bars and I saw this girl who I don't know and she was quarreling with me about something. I have no idea what we were discussing in the dream but it is not something that I am not familiar with at all so I don't know exactly how to explain that part. It almost seem as if I was someone else. Then as I was walking forward I grabbed something from the air and it was a rope that was tied in such a way that it could hang somebody. In the dream I did not know how it was there, it seemed as if it was a trap waiting for me but somehow I know it was there.
