Does anyone here think that an un-moderated forum somewhere would be a good idea?

and what worse.
You don't seem to be averse to character building experiences. Good for you.
I'm behind you 'till your nose bleeds!![]()
I've been to some secular sites, where flaming is condoned, and in my opinion, it's not that far removed from some of the things/arguiments found here.
If you like blasphemy and insults! I think that would be a bad idea. Yahoo Answers Religion and Spirituality section has been completely taken over by Atheists...and they are very, crude, juvenile, and hateful. If you don't want to read posts like "What parts of the Bible Make The Best Toilet Paper?", (seriously, there are 13 such posts at Y.A!.) then unmoderated is not the way to go!This site has the goal of facilitating ecumenical discussions between various Christian faiths as determined by adherence to the Nicene Creed and the Trinitarian nature of God. Those who do not adhere to the Creed are welcome as members and participants in discussions in much of this site, but are required to respect these beliefs, even if they do not share them.
true. I can't go to yahoo's Christian chat area because its' not moderated. So, the muslims come in and bash Christians, and there is nothing anyone can do but put them on ignore. Anyone can come in and post links to porn or say cuss words or whatever they want. I can understand about not likeing the feeling of "cops" all around, but without moderation, it would be total chaos, and not worth going to at all.If you like blasphemy and insults! I agree with you but at the same time there should be a freedom to speak scripture, as well as truth as you see it as long as it does not get childish, distasteful and discussing. We are searching truth here on the Forum and I have things to say that may go against a dogma or creed. If you can demonstrate a reality of truth that is not in the box then it should not be policed. I know of a man who walked the shores of Galilee who went against the flow of the religious teachings of His time.If you like blasphemy and insults! I think that would be a bad idea.
