I really felt like taking my dd and just leaving for a few hours today to get away from all the strife that was worse than usual this weekend.

I know God is in control. I have to keep believing that He will equip us with what we need to deal with now and a possible custody change soon.

My step-son is testing boundaries, being rebellious, etc.

But, I didn't. We all ate dinner together.
This weekend is better even though my husband is sick and doesn't have a lot of patience. Of course they were gone several hours today and I got a lot of stuff done around the house. We already went to church this weekend so hopefully my husband will get some rest and be better tomorrow so we can do something fun.
