There are a couple of ways that you can type vowels in Hebrew.
(1) You can use the character map in Windows. Slow and painstaking.
(2) You can learn to use
the standard way of entering vowels. The problem with this is that you cannot move forward and back between words while having the locks down. I don't like it.
(3) You can use ALT codes to enter the vowels. (This is what I do.) To do this, hold the ALT key on the left side of the space bar and use the number pad on the right side of the keyboard. Hold ALT and type the number code, then release the ALT key. I've gotten used to this, and I can do it very quickly this way.
