Alrighty fellas, looks like I am done hiding this from this board and I have been seeing this since last month. So here we go now...

This is a crossover anime is between two of the much loved series from Type Moon known as Tsukihime (with it's spinoff game Melty Blood) and Fate Stay/Night. Now I believe that most of us here have heard of this two and I think that we know how the fights are as awesome as possible.

EDIT: MAN! Kara no Kyoukai should've been added and Battle Moon Wars would be turned into an anime minus the two originals!

Looks like it will be on August 8 according to ANN. Looks like this will be the first Tsukihime anime and the first time ever to have Melty Blood guys on the spot. Man! I love Sion Eltnam Atlasia a lot! Also, FSN's Saber is so awesomoe!.

Alright... As expected, the Fate Stay Night crew remains the same while the Tsukihime faction with the Melty Blood cast are voiced by their VERY OWN MELTY BLOOD seiyuus!.
WOW! Talk about a dream come true, this is it!

And the Fandom Rejoiced!

Kenji Nojima, Ryouka Yuzuki, Sakuma Kumi and the rest of the MB cast FTW!

Hey Mankin, I so hope that this will inspire a sequel.

As well as the official web site. And it's the 14th.

Because there is no Tsukihime anime.

Not that I join in with the denialism - but then again, I didn't care much for the Akiha or Ciel routes, so the complaints really don't phase me. I really need to finish Kagetsu Tohya.

There's also a Fate/zero anime coming out which will be an adaptation of the prequel light novels. Luckily it is not being made by DEEEENNNN

Ah yes, the denialism. The Umineko anime tends to get hit by that a lot as well.

Too bad, Deen is the only company that will probably ever adapt Heaven's Feel into an anime, but w/e.

Oh, sorry, I misread the dates. Silly me.
At first, I was glad for the Tsukihime anime but then it lacked several stuffs that were important. (This was due to the research that I did. I just can't afford to go H because it is quite disturbing). Moreover, they need to add more of the backstory to fit it in.

Ah, yeah! F/Z, the prequel of FSN. This looks quite interesting and I am looking forward for it. BTW, I am still gonna watch Umineko to the fullest as well as going with the VN. If only more eps with more plot with execution, then I'm sure that VNs would be adapted as if it were absolutely taken from the source.

Well, I was coming from the perspective of actually having completely played the game several years ago. Most of the 'there is no Tsukihime anime' crowd disproportionately consists of fans of the non-Arcueid routes. Akiha's and Ciel's routes in particular, but pretty much all four of them.

But as with all adaptations of visual novels, there's necessary cuts needed just to make a linear plot out of a very non-linear medium. You can't hash out every route, so most series adapted from such games mix plot elements or do short mini-arcs that focus on the individual heroines but eventually settle on the main pairing. If the other routes get major types of attention, it's usually in the form of OVA side releases - Clannad (the Tomoyo and Kyou Another World specials) and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (the Haruka-centric ~Next Season~ OVA) both did it that way.

The English patch for Tsukihime allows for disabling the visuals during the sex scenes (cannot remember if it edits the scenes out altogether, though). From what I recall, the only route where the sex is actually really integral to the plot is in Kohaku's, and in one or two spots in Hisui's that, well, was foreshadowing of Kohaku's.
