TWU, anyone?

I'm just wondering who here has been to Trinity Western University, and what your thoughts were of your time there.

My alma matter! I graduated from Trinity Western University and I have to say.....my years spent there were one of the best times of my life. I had an awesome experience there......making lifelong friends......growing spiritually.......coming to my own.......oh, and I did I forget to mention the great learning experience? The professors a TWU were wonderful and were not only just focused on the student's intellect, but also the student's spiritual growth. They were quite personable. Anyways I could go on and on with my experience at TWU but I'm heading off to the gym and so I'll post more later.

I have a cousin going to Simon Fraiser...and I myself need to do some research. I heard Peter Kreeft is going to TWU. But TWU doesn't have much in the way of philosophy, right? Last time I checked, it was a minor.

Who's Peter Kreeft? As for philosophy, I'm pretty sure that TWU offers it as a major. You might want to look up their website to make sure.

TWU is a liberal arts Christian University located in Langley, BC which is about 45 minutes east of Vancouver. I think its background is with the Evangelical Free Church. An excellent school! But then again, I'm quite biased!

It's great. A little expensive, and if you get a job there, they don't pay well, but it's a super university.

Peter Kreeft is a professor of philosophy, I think he was teaching @ Boston Uni...a Catholic philosopher, I believe.

I declined the job. I wasn't going to take classes, so that wasn't a valuable option to me, and the wages weren't high enough.
