This is a collection of poems I've written at different times of my life. I'm not going to write them all at once, but this will be the place to read them. Check back often.

When the day comes and there's no one else,
Will you stand and fight all by yourself?
Whose gift is burning in you?
Don't you have the slightest clue?

From the past I will come, into the future I have gone;
Before you and after you I have done.
My mouth speaks, My heart moans, My feet dance,
"Without Me you don't have a chance."

The horsemen ride their horses;
The infantrymen run their courses,
If you are wearied by your courses,
How will you contend with the horses?

My warriors worship Me in spirit and truth.
I desire you to come to Me as a young youth.
Your actions, not words, tell Me whom you love,
And if your treasure is in the world or up above.

Darkness or Light?
Give up and die?
Or stand and fight?
It all makes me want to cry!

God or the devil?
Rebellion or obedience?
To do good or evil?
What makes any sense?

Prosperity or poverty?
What a confusing day!
Is there no clear way to see
That Jesus is the only way?

Heaven or hell?
To bless or curse?
Will no one tell?
What do I do first?

Satan wants to kill me?
Why do I have to choose?
JUST LET ME BE!!
I don't care if I win or lose!

Who is this Jesus?
Who is He?
Does He really care about us?
Could He possibly love me?

Please help me.
I need to know!
My sin is like the sea,
So full of sorrow and woe.

So ugly from sin,
Disfigured from pain.
Is there any hope to win?
Am I going insane?

I have nothing to live for
And people treat me like trash.
I DON'T WANT ANY MORE!!
But my life is about to crash.

My heart crushed by guilt.
What else can I say?
My life is on tilt.
Is Jesus truely the way?

Jesus, please save me.
I'm sorry for my sin.
Please set me free.
I choose not to do it again.

Is this love that I feel?
It's all around.
It feels so real.
True Life I have found.

What to say
To a Warrior Princess,
A beautiful Lady?
What words are best?

For a Lady so lovely
Nothing but the best will do.
What words would do beautifully?
Maybe, "I love you"?

Should I let her know
That, for her, I'll still pray
Whether God says "Go"
Whether God says "Stay"?

They have to be great words.
Should there be many or few?
Elegant as roses? Graceful as birds?
Nah, probably "I love you."

She is such a blessing to me.
Does she know?
Does she see?
Lord, will you let her know?

They must brighten her day,
Be from the heart and ring true.
Yes! That is what they must say.
Definately "I love you."

So much junk!
So many fights!
I feel like a punk,
Who has no rights.

How can this be!?!
That I am the one You called?
Every day I want to flee.
For so long I have cried and bawled.

Because I'm throwing a fit?
No, as a child
Raging and wanting to kick and hit,
But outwardly - oh so mild.

So loud I cry out
For my family who's gone.
Now I don't even shout.
Seems Satan has won.

Fill me to bursting with Your love.
I have a burning hatred toward the Thief.
How am I to have this love
And bring to the Accuser so much grief?

How am I to proctice it?
Or even know I have it?
I'll know if I'm a hypocrite.
Help me avoid the pits.

Do you really want to know
Who I am inside?
What if I'm full of woe?
What if you're denied?

Will you still love me
Even after the storms of my heart?
Do you think you can hold me
When my world has fallen apart?

Thoughout my life many have come.
All have left, as always.
It doesn't hurt anymore - I numb,
Because I'm the one that always pays.

Will you love me through the pain?
Can you hold on to a storm?
Will you still love me when there's nothing left to gain?
Are you willing to go beyond the norm?

My heart rages!
It hurts to the bone!
You can see it in my history pages -
I've always been alone.

What makes you different?
Why should I tell you more?
Are you the one God sent?
Do you dare open this door?

I've been lied to and left in the dark.
Have I mentioned how thouroghly I've been used?
They probably think I'm a walk in the park.
How much have I actually been abused?

Are you still holding on?
Do you think I'm a hard case?
You think this is a con?
If you lie I'll tell you to your face.

You can stop at any time.
No one will blame you.
Don't worry - it's not a crime.
If you're determined to love me - continue

I want to protect the ones that I love.
It's always to my own hurt.
I know now that is the wrong kind of love.
With all the blame on me I wasn't worth dirt.

The way I saw it - they were free,
Because I took all the blame.
I was so convincing that they would agree.
Or were they just playing a game?

No, they were not playing a game.
Satan has hurt them as much as he's hurt me.
I realize now that he's the one to blame.
So this puts an end to my pity.

I love your poetry. Especially Choices. Sometimes I feel like that, then I realize how much Jesus loved me to give his life for me and I am actually glad that He's my friend!!

A poem simple and true.
Full of God and from my heart.
Its true - I love you.
So let it start.

Why do I love you?
Because God sent you to me.
Why do I love you?
It was meant to be.

In God my faith is strong.
It's you that we love.
God said it and He's not wrong.
Love that's gentle as a dove.

Why do I love you?
Because God brought me to you.
Why do I love you?
Because I choose to.

I'm not forced to love you.
I'm learning of a true love,
A pure love, a love brand new.
It's you that God chose for me to love.
