Two things regarding the Blessed Mother

Second, has anyone noticed that almost every time, the Mary has appeared to Children?

That is wonderful! I think Tolkien's languages are absolutely beautiful, and I've spent time studying linguism just because of him! What are the words missing from the above?

Also, my thoughts on Mary appearing to children, which is not always the case - they are so very pure and innocent - not yet completely tainted by the world.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is Elvish and what is the relevence to us? Are you speaking of a recent apparition?

Regarding the second question, I have noticed that as well. It seems Our Lady mostly appears to those humble and pure enough to receive the apparition.

Elvish is a fictional language, the actual Ave Maria in the said language is nothing serious, just an interesting quirk I found. There has been no apparitiion associated with J.R.R.Tolkien's languages.

That is really cool, thanks for posting that benedictine. You may be interested in some of the Catholic Themes in 'The Lord of the Rings'...although dear faerieeva may hit me with a pillow for bringing that up again.

Oh, and yes, Our Lady does gravitate towards appearing to children (and other pure souls)...must be that maternal thing?
