two questions

i have two questions... the first is what is the difference (or connection) between anabaptists and baptists?

the other question is why is there a forum that says it is also for mennonites... i thought they didn't use technology or something... or is that just the amish?

Anabaptists have a very wide spectrum, and not many mennonites are as plain as the amish.

The Old Order Amish don't use any kind of technology.

The Amish are an anabaptist group, but not all mennonites are amish.

The Old Order Amish, as well as Old Order Mennonites use technology selectively, tending to adopt new technologies slowly (or not at all) depending on how they will impact the church. Automobiles cause members of the church to move greater distances from one another, telephones in the home lead to easy gossip, etc...

There are Mennonites that use much more "primitive" technology than your typical Lancaster County Amishman, and there are Amish that use electricity and drive cars.
