  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't believe there are only two days to go until The Passion opens! The closer it gets the more nervous I get. I think this movie will be very hard for me to see. :cry:

I saw clips today and it looks like it will be very hard to handle.

I bought an extra ticket like I said I would but now I haven't found anyone to go with us! I was thinking that if I don't find a 6th person to take I could just go there and then pick someone randomly to give the ticket to.

Is anyone else actually getting scared to see the movie? I mean I just hope I don't fall apart too bad. :(

I decided a long time ago that I will wait til the DVD comes out. I'll watch it in small doses of 2 -3 minutes.
I wouldn't last 5 minutes in a theater.

I'll pray for your husband and all of you. I believe this film will be a great vehicle of Grace for millions of people. My post was about me and my inability to see it in anything but small portions.
