  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know we weren't properly trying yet, but I was so convincedI was pregnant.

Everything else in my life seems to be going wrong at the moment and it was one good thing I was holding on to.

I'm hoping my husband will be at the stage of perperly trying soon. I think he's getting there.

Ok, I feel really dumb and relieved at the same time. AF just showed up. That means I imagined all the signs of pregnancy that weren't there. And we spent 30$ on tests, just because dh and I were so impatient. I really wish AF had shown up 2 hours earlier because then I wouldn't have used the 15$ test I did this morning. Believe me, next month, I'm waiting a LONG time to test. I don't like throwing money in the toilet bowl. :o And now I feel like crying because I'm all moody.

My goodness, we're all on the same schedule!

1:09 PM - still no AF.

I'm thinking about waiting until Friday before I consider testing. Is that crazy? I just hate being disappointed. My BBT usually drops on 17 DPO, even though I spot a couple of days before. Today is 15 DPO. Maybe I should wait longer?

Oh I'm praying for you gracefaith!! I just finished AF on Monday... so I have to wait awhile again to know whether or not

But... ovulation is coming up which means lots of sex for us!

LOL - that's the one thing that cracks me up about TTC. If you tell someone, 'We're trying to have a baby,' you're essentially saying, 'We're having LOTS of unprotected sex!' Can't say that in just any context!

Yeah, I think. Though I confess, part of the reason that I'm putting off testing is because the reality of having a baby is starting to scare me to death. It will be the end of life as I know it. Not in a bad way, of course, but the thought is still daunting.

For the record, I don't feel particularly pregnant. I keep to the bathroom to see if I started and then scolding my tummy. 'AF, I know you're in there. Quit making me crazy and come already!'
