  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Fertility Friend thinks I might have ovulated a couple of days ago. I'm something like 64 days into my cycle. I'm not certain it's accurate, but I was starting to wonder if I had ovulated, based on my temps. So maybe I'm in the 2ww, too.

Best wishes to all of you.

Just wanted to say love and prayers going up for everyone here. I'm going on an "internet fast" for a little while, 'cos I just gotta get some packing done! But every time I would have been tempted to come on here, I will say a prayer for you all instead! And most especially for my prayer buddy!

May God grant us all patience during the tww, peace of mind with whatever the outcome is and hope for whatever the future holds. Amen.

My love goes to you all. Will check in to see who's got a bfp in a week or so!

How sad is it that I went to find that original post, and saw that she's only 35 - meaning she was about 25 when her 1st was born, which is 5 years younger than I am now?

I was listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about "older" mothers and "younger" mothers - and who would be the better mother and why. I didn't think it mattered - but one thing that really got to me was that they were drawing the line at age 26. 26!!! I'll be 26 in a little over a year - and they are saying that I would be considered an older mother by then! That is just crazy... I was tempted to call in and tell them just how crazy that was!! We are ALL young!!

Well, we just got home! He did a pelvic exam.. asked a bunch of questions.. they took some blood, gave my husband his little cup to do his sperm test.. discovered that I'm on day 14 and told us to go home and "be together" tonight and the next two nights... (my husband keeps saying.. "let's go, Doctor's order!" He decided to hold off on putting me on anything and told him to wait until after the 15th to do the test.. of course he has to abstain for 3 days (doctors orders! lol) So he will do his test around the 18th.. He said he wanted to try the cheapest route first! He said timing is a huge reason for infertility... "being together' on the right day. So, then after this, he said he wants to see me on "day 21" which is next Thursday... and we will go from there. Oh and he said everything looks good with me.. healthy. Next we will try the progesterone!

Sounds like you had the same things done as me - except my doctor won't test progesterone - I've tried to talk him into it, but... So glad everything is okay with you! That's great news!! Hope the timing thing works out for you this month!! Good Luck!

my body is really confusing me.
I should have O'd back on Tuesday - well, I've been having EWCM for 3 days now - maybe the weight I lost has changed my system a bit??
I have been working way too late the past couple of nights, so we haven't been able to BD, but maybe tonight - who knows, I may not have even O'd yet.
With work and everything I haven't used OPKs this month.

Thank you for your prayers...I'll let you all know as soon as I do.

Waiting after the 2ww is the worst.

How long will you wait before testing?

______

I started taking my temp this morning - it's mid-2WW, but I did it so I'd start getting used to taking it every morning. I wasn't as difficult as I thought - and when I take it on the weekends I don't think it'll be too bad with this new alarm clock I bought.
The buzz starts out quietly and then builds up as time goes on - so if I catch it soon it shouldn't bother DH much at all. There is no back-light on the thermometer which was kinda annoying, but it may work out for the best - less light to annoy hubby.

Well, 2ww is in progress now. Only the 6th cycle. All my friends made it sound so easy. Did the bd once at the right time and that was it. I guess that's not the norm though.

It is harder than I ever thought it would be. We did pretty good this month though - probably better than we have in a long time - so I'm hoping! Thursday is the big day! If this month is a BFN, I will start Clomid next month and am a little nervous about it, so I would much rather just have a BFP this month and not have to worry about it!
