Hello all,

I am new here and thought I would share with each of you TTC, because I was once in your shoes.

I have a PCOS. It affects each person differently and to different levels. Seems like I was "lucky" enough to pretty much struggle in every area.

Because of this i had unovulatory cycles and cycles that would either never come or never go away. We decided in jun2 2005 to see a fertility specialist and start the process. It was so hard emotionally to be TRYING. Sounds so easily to the rest of the world. I worked really hard on loosing weight while i took Metformin in hopes to get regular. I didnt get regular but i lost 40 lbs (they say weightloss helps) The dr put me on bcp's to relax my ovaries and get me "regular". which was hard to do because I was trying and it felt like wasted time. (all this was after the sperm count and hsg). Then we did our first round of clomid (still on MET), at my midcycle u/s I had on follie at 18mm and thats it. I stared my estrogen and progesterone and took a trigger shot 2 days later. Low and behold we got PG. It worked. (btw we also had a day of prayer for us, we emailed everyone we knew and asked them all to pray on the same day, i knew that day that God would bless me with a baby but didnt know when)

The PG was was rough because my body doesnt do things right (LOL) but we made it and I have a healthy little girl. She is true a gift from God and blesses my life everyday.

We actually had a miscarriage when she was 6 mons. old and i struggle with trying for another.

So, stay strong and know that it can happen no matter what the drs say. I wasnt suppose to have a child at all...the dr said only 12% chance with all the medicine out there...and boom it happened.

If yo uhave any questions along the way or need someone to be praying for you let me know.:groupray:

That makes me so mad that the dr is not monitoring you. A RE is definately a good answer for you!!!!! They will keep your monitored.

I think its sad when dr's dont but you put alot of time, energy, and emotions into trying to get pregnant and a simple mid cycle U/S could tell you so much!!

I will be praying for you.

Since you do have PCOS also make sure that if you do get pregnant that they check your beta and progesterone immediately. Alot of PCOS girls have low progesterone which causes 1st trimester miscarriages. Progesterone can be given in different forms and makes a huge difference.

Alot of health stores sell progesterone cream. i strongly suggest getting some and running just below your belly once daily after O'ing untill you start your period or discover your pregnant.

Best of luck! Ask any questions along the way i am here for you!
