I am trying to remember a certain anime that was on TV about 8-10 yrs ago. I think it was on UPN around the time sailor moon was. I pretty sure it took place in space. I remember two guys on their that would either transform or go into robots or something using these crystals or something. I am pretty sure the main character had a green one and the villian had a red one. I know this is kinda vague, but if anyway can remember what this show is that would be great.

In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

From what you're describing, about the only thing I can think of is Tekkaman Blade, which was distributed in the U.S. under the name Teknoman.

If I can remember correctly, the original Tekkaman Blade series isn't available on DVD in America (and possibly not in Japan either, or at least not in print at the moment), but it's sequel, the OVA Tekkaman Blade II, has been for several years (and I actually do have that on DVD).

Some Blockbusters, and maybe some other video rental chains, have the VHS pilot of the first series (one near where I live does). Try the video rental stores that have been around a good long while, and then the ones you don't go to is my advice. If you don't find what you're looking for, older video stores tend to have more Anime (from my experiance), and not just the ones otaku are currently drooling over either.
