Both NV and AZ are favoring Trump with their win - it would make the Trump election a landslide with 312 Electoral College votes and more than 4,000,000 in the popular vote.

Combine that with a majority in both House (still not confirmed) and Senate it is an historic event. The politics of insults and fear just doesn't work. The Democratic Party really needs to access it's message because they failed miserably.

No, 58% of the vote is not a landslide. It's a clear majority, but it's not a landslide. Remember Reagan vs. Mondale, with Reagan winning all states except Minnesota and DC? That was a landslide.

It worked against Harris.
Are people HATING on Harris, OR did people vote against her because they didn't like her policies?

Was there REALLY hate involved here?

"Evil". "Prostitute". This was what they were calling her from the stage at Trumps closing argument rally. Ive also heard her called "evil" many times right here.

I think it works. Its part of building the 'vibe'.

But this wasn't just a Presidential victory. All three branches of the government are now solidly red. Nearly every voting bloc moved to the right, some substantially so. It's hard to not define this as a "landslide" for Republicans by any objective definition of the word.

Haters gonna hate.

Both sides have hateful people, that's just how life is, unfortunately.

Have you heard what Trump and his supporters have been called? If it "works", why didn't it work the other way?

Out of Biden's own mouth, nonetheless.

Ridiculous.

There are other factors at play. Hate and nasty words work. But they dont 'trump' everything.

I'm not going to say other side is innocent. Both of them have rotten fruit.

It’s actually loving to call her evil.

It is also interesting that many of those votes came from unexpected places.

Some of her policies are evil, I agree. I won’t judge if she’s an evil person, just misguided and misinformed.

You arent really agreeing though. He called her evil. Not her policies.

I can get behind calling out the moral failings and personal character of candidates.
How do they treat other people?
What is their respect for truth?
Do they cheat and steal?
Etc.

But labeling a person "evil". or a "prostitute". Thats off the table for political discourse imo.

So far .... they don't get this and are continuing on with the insults. This seems to be ingrained in their approach and has been for quite some time now. It would take major changes in their political party members and that don't seem to be on the horizon anywhere. They continue to focus on emotions rather than stating what their solid policies are ... and no that doesn't work for the majority of Americans.

They paint Trump as a Nazi ... and quite honestly he is a moderate.
