Because presidents need to be presidents for all Americans--not just their supporters. He should explain how his policies would build a better America for all Americans. It is possible one or two of his ideas might find widespread support.
Let's try not to hold double standards as presidents need to be presidents, and an explanation of policies needs to be provided by both candidates. Don't you think it's best for Americans? Even though Trump's rhetoric hasn't changed and his actions since 2016 I agree and disagree on some.
I didn't see the 60 min show but I've already made my mind up and I've seen enough hypocrisy from the left-wing media when Trump is concerned. I'll repeat it, I won't even consider Harris unless she is interviewed on Fox or another right-leaning news outlet. Her storytelling may work for some but not me and almost every interview sounds the same when asked a policy question.
