Truly Understanding How to Pray

I am presently reading Juanita Bynum's book "The Threshing Floor, How to Know Without a Doubt God Hears Your Every Prayer".

This book is AWESOME. God is truly using this book to break down His pattern of prayer that He desires us to follow so that we can enter into the Holy of Holies everytime.

Please do yourself a favor and get this book. It teaches about the tabernacle that Moses built and how we are to follow that pattern with our inner tabernacle.

If you live near Wal-Mart they have it in their Inspirational Book section for about $15.00.

This book will bless you from the crown of your head to the souls of your feet. I haven't even finished it yet and I'm blessed from the understanding it's giving me.

Thank you for the info on a book that sounds wonderful! I would be very surprised if it wasn't at Amazon.com as well,that is my store,LOL! I love any books that help us to have a closer relationship to God. Right now I am reading "Prayer,Finding The Heart's True Home" by Richard Foster,which is such a blessing as was "Don't Just Stand There,Pray Something:The Incredible Power Of Intercessory Prayer" by Ronald Dunn. I thank the Lord so much that we are blessed by such books and pray that He blesses the authors.

Hello all!

I bought Kay Arthur's "Lord Teach Me To Pray in 28 Days." It explains The Lord's Prayer. Even though I get most of my books from Crossings, you can get it from Amazon for $9.99.

I must apologize and ask Diva_For_Christ to please forgive me for going off topic on her thread! I did not really think about what I was doing mentioning other titles and I am sorry for that.
To get back on topic. I did a search at Amazon for "The Threshing Floor" and I always check to see what books are rated and this one is only rated 3 stars. I prefer 4 stars minimum. I also read the reviews and there are only 3 for this book and I must say that the things in this one bother me.
"There are too many authors mixing their "revelation" with the truth of the gospel. If the Bible is silent on a subject, we should be also. For example, the author actually tries to use colors to symbolize Christ, the passion and resurrection. There are scripture references that are in error. The book was not edited well and poorly written. The real problem is that there are good ideas that are lost in the errors which makes it difficult to trust anything that the author is saying." I am afraid that after reading a review like that, this does not sound like a book that I feel would benefit my spiritual life at all.
