  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have had many vices in my life, the Lord has freed me from them all, their is still one that tries to hang on but the Lord has been faithful and He is helping me to overcome it. I think though bro you should just start over again fresh and make a heartfelt decision whatever the vise is, to never do it again, turn your heart against it completely and ask the Lord to give you a hatred of it and the willingness to stop, renounce all love for the sin in your life and commit it all to the Lord. You must truly come to a place where you hate this sin and you have committed to yourself and to the Lord that it is no longer a option to do or even think about.

Your self-will can only go so far so the next step is to trust that when your strength fails and it will, you need to trust and pray to the Lord until He comes through for you every time, because if we truly want freedom from sin, He will give it to us, but we must first truly and honestly want it. God desires truth in the inward parts. (Psalm 51:6)
