Thread: Ancient's Wake
Name: Tristan Sloan
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Height: 6'0''
Weight: 175
Appearance: Tristan's body is toned from years spent in service to Semoria, though he is nowhere near overly fit and more agile than anything. His face is long with a slightly upturned nose and thin lips, making him look much like his twin brother, Lucien. However, Tristan's eyes are bigger and wider with light blue around his pupils, and there is a noticeable scar on his upper lip near the right corner of his mouth. His hair is a golden blonde at the ends, but becomes darker towards his scalp, cut short in thick waves at the tops of his ears. Aside from his normal clothing, he also wears a leather braided band around his lift wrist that has not been removed in many years and ties a bright red cloth around his upper arm, marking him as a scout. His weapon of choice is a longbow.
Personality: Tristan is a person who cannot accept failure or admit defeat, even with the most simplest of things. It's a flaw of his that has often times tossed him into trouble. He's a free spirit who receives an adrenaline high from taking risks, dislikes plans, and when they are made, rarely follows through with them. The world is his oyster, and he doesn't hold much thought for the morrow...except when to find his next shot of whiskey.
However, he is not without his strong qualities. He's kind to a fault, and won't leave anyone helpless. He has an intelligent view of the world and of people that only comes from experience, and while he may not be book smart, he's street smart. His enthusiasm can also be contagious.
Background: (For the beginning of Tristan's life, check out his brother's, Lucien's, bio.)
Shortly after his twin brother was shipped to the island, Tristan continued working in the stables of the barracks, feeding the horses and shoveling their feces. Guilt ever so slowly overwhelmed him, but he forced it out of his mind in an effort to convince himself that Lucien deserved what he received. Eventually he succeeded. Before long Tristan turned from stable hand to scout, and became one of the more trusted friends of Prince Desmond, memories of his brother and adopted family forgotten.
Other: Tristan is color blind, and has trouble distinguishing the colors of red and green.
