has any one got any feed back on the large group of christians that use hallusinogenic drugs as part of there understanding of sin.
i dont know what they are called or what drug they take, and im not interested in becoming one but i know that they are getting bigger.

All anyone Christian needs to know about understanding sin is that we're all guilty of it. One trespass of the Law and we are condemned by it, but praise His name, we're redeemed in our Lord Jesus.

Could be Rastafarians, they technically believe the Bible, but they also think Emperor Haile Selassie was the messiah, and that spiritual use of cannabis is good. Missing the point a little, methinks...but then again, cannabis isn't exactly hallucinogenic (and indeed had several practical uses back in Bible times that didn't involve inhalation) so not heard of any Christian-affiliated groups using anything harder.

That is a lie and deception from the enemy...I've heard many "christians" try to say they have to try it ...in order to understand.." " there was a pastor that started going to porn adult movie theaters " in order to understand this type of sin" before it was over with she had become demon possessed.

I understand their rationalization behind it, but they are probably just interested in trying out hallengentionas are in fact just simply sinning.

however once saved is not always saved..and you can backslide into the enemy's territory and become a captive again...you can lose your salvation and become a prisoner of the enemy.

I wonder what God's view on such a group would be. They claim they are only using the drug for honorable and spiritual reasons rather than just for recreational use, but still I wonder. I think the obvious awnser would be it makes God angry and they are commiteing a sin, but the obvious awnser is not always the truth, things are not always what they appear. But I am not 100% sure why they think it is biblically okay.
