  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So Dennis (hubby) and I finally decided on our honeymoon. I know, a little late right :)

But we live up in Cold Wisconsin and we are going to Warm Daytona Beach Florida! For 5days :)

But my question is, is anyone else traveling during their pregancy? I will be just about 7 months pregnant when we are planning on going, and I got it okayed by my doctor and I have to take special precautions and I have to get a copy of my medical records and stuff to take with me and I get to take water on the flight with me! And I have to get up and walk around halfway through the flight and fun stuff like that...

But is anyone else trying to vacation before the baby comes?

I did before my first daughter was born, we flew down to GA to visit my family. Just to let you know, baby will get really active during take off and landing, at least mine did and she rarely moved.

BTW I have been married almost 3.5 years and have yet to take a honeymoon, lol.

I know that i'm not as far along but when i was 15 weeks i went away and it was fine.

As long as the airline agree to you flying and the doctor says its ok then you should be fine.

WE're not sure what we are going yet. We may be going away for a few days at the end of april - so i'll be 27 weeks but if we do we'll be driving

My husband and I went on a nice getaway to Daytona Beach when I was about 5 almost 6 months preggers. It was fine, I felt great then. It's really not to bad flying when your pregnant other than having to use the restroom frequently :).

O and btw, I used to live in Florida and I wanted to highly recommend you and your husband try the best seafood restaurant out there, Norwoods. It's about 20 mins from Daytona right in New Smyrna. It's AMAZING!

ITs about a three hour flight, but we are breaking int into two flights, because we will be stopping in GA on the way, so I am thinking, eat before we go, take a water bottle, relax on the flight, then in GA walk around, eat again (just a snack) beause we have about an hour and half inbetween and then hop back on the plane and fly to FL! :)
