Translation help, please?

Hi, I got a medal as a small gift from my sister, with a folder. But the folder is in spanish...

Could someone translate this, or at least give me the most important facts?

CONTENIDO DE LA MEDALLA

Todos sus simbolos quieren ser, en conjunto, una sintesis perfecta de las principales prerrogativas de Maria, sugeridas en el Evangelio.
Todos ellos constituyen, en opinion de sus comentadores: "Libro abierto de sus grandezas", "evangelio de Maria", "auténtico tratado de teologia mariana, según lo ha compendiado el Concilio Vaticano II.
En el anverso quiso aparecer aplastando con su pie virginal la serpiente (simbolo del pecado). Por si este lenguaje no fuese ya claro, insistio en que se leyese, en torno a su imagen, la siguiente inscripcion: "Oh Maria sin pecado concebida, ruega por nosotros que recurrimos a Ti".
Complemento de estos signos del anverso está la postura de Maria, como Reina y Madre del Mundo, iluminándolo, protegiéndolo con sus rayos de gracias, fruto de su oracion maternal, ante su Hijo Jesucristo.
El simbolismo del Reverso está formado por una cruz, apoyada en la letra M y debajo de dos corazones de Jesús y de maria, coronado el uno por espinas y atravesado el otro por una espada (profetizada por Simeón), en misión corredentora del mundo.

CONTENT OF THE MEDAL All their symbols want to be, altogether, a perfect sintesis of the main prerogatives of Mary, suggested in the Gospel.
