Since I am going to be banned, I have nothing to lose. I am toast anyhow and I really don't care anymore. But this needs to be exposed to the Prog community so they can see how thier own rule is AGAIN being violated!

I am going to be gone soon, but you guys need to look into this and stand up for the rights of our area!!

IT'S STILL HAPPENING! Trad mods are NOT allowed to work the reports that come from this area. Yet we have Daryl pushing for my ban in a merged report thread where the reports are from THIS AREA:

Seeing that there has been a merging of reports here, after reading everything here, including the reported person's posts, if you are looking for consensus, then I am in full agreement with a two point infraction which will result in a one month site wide ban and a total of 5 infraction points.

First Doc now Daryl. You see, they just can't stop! They will look for any loophole if it means they can somehow weasle thier way into our reports and lend thier influence towards a ban for us!

WHY IS A TRAD MOD STILL BEING ALLOWED TO PUSH FOR ME TO BANNED IN MY REPORTS? This is AGAINST our FSR which states that NO TRAD MODS ARE ALLOWED TO WORK OUR REPORTS OR INFLUENCE OTHER MODS AND PUSH FOR A BAN IN REPORT THREADS THAT COME FROM THE PROG AREA!

This is a travesty. Daryl has no business in there contributing to this decision in any capacity!!! NEITHER HIS OPINION NOR HIS VOTE SHOULD EVEN BE ALLOWED TO BE POSTED IN THERE MUCH LESS ACCEPTED AS COUNTING TOWARDS A PROG'S BAN!

That's the thing Stormy, we are not supposed to have Trad SDA mods overseeing this area, much less working our reports, commenting in our report threads and voting towards a ban!! THAT WAS WHY WE FORMULATED THAT STICKY.

Perhaps what the staff could help clarify is how merged reports are handled. Are they merged across forum lines? If they are routinely merged across lines of different congregations then I don't suppose you have an argument. But even then is the merged report handled by both teams?

If they are not routinely merged across congregational forum lines, then is the progressive forum not being treated as it was billed?

There are some efforts on staff to handle things on a user-basis rather than from a single post basis, from what I can gather with the info I have seen. Before the reforms for instance there was a thread on a specific user that was not originate with any one report.

We really don't need to go down this road. I didn't intend to start a Doc bashing session. I merely said I was disappointed that he would work a report he shouldn't.

Since I kind of started this I'm asking y'all to stop it.
I am not bashing anyone, I made a simple statement that has been proven true time and time again....

Tall, here is the situation:

Doc was clearly in the wrong and I assume he has been reprimanded for it. His posts have been deleted from the thread.

Good Day, Prog. SDA members

The issue to which Night refers is an unfortunate issue indeed. What he said is true there was a report in which A Trad. SDA mod posted, which was clearly out side the rules as Night posted here. I am the no-SDA mod who deleted that post, as the manager of the SDA (Trad. and Prog) forums. The issue with the staff member will be handled with in the rules that govern staff that are under my guidance. I can assure you I in no way support such behavior and will do my / our best to see that it does not happen again

I have only been here a short time, and I know there has been a historically high tension on both sides of this forum. There are some new staff members here on the team with me. It is my intention to see that both sides are treated fairly with in the guidelines of CF. I would ask that you stop and pray for your “modding” team, and try to set your tension aside as we work though the issues on the SDA forum.

In Him,

Bill

In Daryl's case, it looks like it could be a bit muddier. The merged reports were 99% from the Prog area. Meaning, I have about 12 reports merged in one thread, 11 from the Prog area and one from the D&D area. It seems that Daryl must have felt at liberty to post his input in the merged thread and push for my ban just because of that single report that got merged with the rest.

Personally, I think it should NOT MATTER if there is a D&D report in the merge! If for no other reason than a conflict of interest, the Trad mods should just STAY OUT of my report thread, period! :|

These are the mods who are currently assigned to work the PSDA reports:

BBAS 64
stone
TomUK
Edial
Svt4Him
kamikat

http://christianforums.com/t6583605-moderator-assignments-for-the-progressive-sda-sub-forum.html

Because of coding issues, the names of the Trad mods cannot be taken off of the official list that is displayed at the top of the sub-forum. That is why there is a sticky in the Prog sub-forum listing the mod assignments.

The other issues that Night has raised here are being addressed by staff.

Is a victory really a victory if you can't achieve success honorably? This is very disappointing. I thought Doc was a bigger man than this.
Annie--could you please share with the rest of us what exactly Doc said that would make you make such a statement about him?
