I'm not sure of the details of your conditions, but these guys have done a lot of work in this area to find alternatives to the pill for treatment of a variety of conditions. Because we Catholics cannot use the pill, we had to come up with other solutions.;)

If they are far away from you, you can have a telephone appointment with one of the doctors there. I'm not sure if what they have will be useful for you, but it's worth a try...

Your fertility is a gift from God, but so is your health. There are times when we must use medicine to regain health which has a side effect of making us temporarily infertile. God will still look into your heart and see that you are open to the gift of life, that you are not choosing to prevent it. God values our openness to life even when we cannot conceive.

I would HIGHLY suggest you go to a Naturopathic doctor and get treated by him/her. Regular doctors tend to just put people on chemicals... treat the Symptoms of what's going on... While Naturopaths treat the Cause of what's going on and work to cure it.

Cysts, polyps, etc. are Huge signals that your body is Toxic and those toxins have to go Somewhere... In your particular body, the toxins are forming cysts. Detox the body, stay on a special diet, and they will Go Away, break up, disappear...

I've known Several women who've had cysts, tumors, polyps, weird allergies, infertility issues... gone to a Naturopathic doctor, gone on a cleansing diet for 2 weeks (or more), then stayed with an individualized diet (and supplements) for as long as each one needed it. They all were Cured.

One of the women had a huge (I mean Huge) cyst on her ovary. It didn't bother her too much because she was scared to death of all the polyps on her vocal cords. Her regular AMA doctor wanted to surgically remove the polyps, but couldn't guarantee she could talk after the surgery. She was Scared to death... so went to a Naturophic doctor. At about the 2 week mark, when the detoxing was the strongest, she had a Horrible pain in her ovary. She called the Naturopath and he said the cyst probably exploded (which was a good thing). She went in to her GYN a few days later and they did an u/s of her ovary. There was no cyst. They could barely see where the cyst used to be.

We live in a toxic world, and a lot of the foods we eat have pesticides, preservatives, and things that really aren't meant to be eaten. Everyone's body handles the toxic load differently. Some get cancer, some have cysts, polyps, kidney issues, liver issues, etc. etc. etc. Do some research online about your condition, look for a Naturopath, and Work on your health.

I just double over through the pain and 3 days later it pops and I am over it. The pain is gone and I feel better. That is the only way I know when I ovulate.

I don't have that kind of cyst. Mine isn't determined by my cycle. Mine are always there, and I have numerous cysts, and they always hurt. There is no, "better" day. It is just always pain. I wish I could just suffer for a couple days, but, alas, my body just seems to hate me.

See, now, I would love to go to a naturopath, but we don't have the money. Insurance covers military doctors or referrals only, so I can't get my insurance to pay, or this would be the first place I would go. I hate using chemical cures, but, when I don't know what else to do, I really don't have much of a choice.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but there is ALWAYS a choice. If your health means enough to you and your DH, then you will work out a way to do this.

I'll be praying.

Sorry to take it this way, but it does sound harsh. I mean, IF we had the money to go elsewhere, then I would. BUT, right now the money doesn't exist. I am paying my mother's mortgage, raising three kids on one income, a soldier's income at that. We have our mortgage, two car payments, and of course, food, gas, clothes for growing children, etc etc etc. I mean, It is hard enough paying all our bills and keeping the kids fed. I mean, I guess we could cut off internet and phone and such, but I need the internet for my volunteer work with the unit. And I also need the phone service. I mean, where am I to find the money to go get myself treatment, when I can't even find the money to pay for my daughter's speech therapy that she needs? That would be priority one, and we don't even have that. So, now we are working with the preschool to try and get her that. My health IS important to me, which is why I am willing to do WHATEVER is necessary to stay healthy for my family, but I will NOT take away from my children JUST so I can do it the way I WANT to do it.

Believe me, I understand the money issue! There have been days where I honestly didn't know what we would be eating the next day because our fridge was empty. I've prayed more than once that our furnace would run on fumes until we could afford to buy more fuel. In the end, we still have a roof over our heads, and we have always had SOMETHING on the table, even if we had to get creative! God has provided, and continues to. We do not have any form of insurance, so all of our medical costs are completely out of pocket. Every time we have needed to see the doctor/midwife, God has provided for it somehow.

My advice, if you want to see an ND (My kids and I always go to an ND!) then ask God to provide the way. I will pray that He will guide you and help you to decide the best way to take care of yourself. Take care!

Here's a list of NFP only doctors - maybe you could find one in your area or call one and discuss other options.

Sorry you have to feel so conflicted about this. I'll be praying for you

WOW, God so answers prayers. My cysts are NOT causing the pain. The only way I found this out was through a trip to the ER. I was in soooo much pain, that I had to go in to the emergency room. Well, the ER doc did an ultrasound right then and there. The cysts are there, but they aren't big enough or even the right kind to cause the pain I am having. So, now we are on a search for the cause.

Gallbladder is fine too. So, I have to have some more tests, but at least I know that the cysts are NOT the cause. That means NO BC!!!

OK, so on-post, they just said it was the cysts. Basically, I am a woman, so it must be a woman problem. I can't believe that I am actually thankful that I had to go to the ER. But, if it wasn't for that visit, then I wouldn't have found out.

Thankfully I have never had cysts or anything like that so I do not exactly know how you feel in that respect. Although I do know how you feel in being FORCED to do something that you do not want to. My son who was breastfed was not gaining properly (according to a dr.). They did tons of test on him thinking that there must have been something wrong. They checked his nutrient levels and everything. All of the test came back perfectly fine (outside of him being a little low on iron...but not even enough for iron drops....which is saying a lot). I praise God for that. But since he was so little I was forced to start formula feeding him. I despise formula but it has seemed like I have no choice.
Also my hubby and I used to use natural birth control.....but an authority in our lives that my husband respects does not believe in natural birth control and told us to get on conventional birth control. So my husband started using condoms. Those are just a couple of a handful that have just transpired within the past several months. So I do understand how it feels to not have much choice in the matter.

But with all that being said.......you could look on the internet for naturepathic (if that is the correct phrase) cleanses and then you would not have to pay to go to the dr. The internet is a good tool that we have at our disposal. Just do a search for natural cures or remedies for cysts or something like that. If you find a cleanse recipe that you could just make yourself and try...then maybe it would work and then you would not have to pay the drs.
In the mean time, I will pray for you.

P.S.
Remember God can heal you and he wants you to be healed. But you should believe (or have faith as it is called) in him.
