Tornado!

So within the last hour or so I had a close call with a tornado. The storm was moving south towards my town and the weatherman said tornado touched down just a couple miles to the north and advised everyone to take cover immediately.

So I asked the Lord to protect us and no sooner had I prayed that simple prayer, than the tornado apparently dissipated and went right over the whole town. Some minor wind damage still happened, but God is faithful!

This reminds me of a somewhat humorous, but serious, incident with what I believe was a tornado. Wind gusts were fierce and headed straight for the home. My sister started yelling "Stop! Stop!" to the thing, and I jumped up and said "No, you don't do it like that. You do it like this - Stop in the name of Jesus!". The thing stopped! Suddenly gone. A huge Oak tree was felled just 1/2 block from the property. God is awesome.
